Took 20 and felt nothing

I bought this to help me relax before sleep. I've used kava before (different brand) and it worked well and gave me a nice sedated feeling.Took 8 pills last night and the effects were mild.Lot: 41027. Exp 07/2025

I have tried kava both in tea form and also kava hard candies. For me, the first thing I notice when taking kava is the slight numbing effect in my mouth. Obviously with these capsules, there is no numbing effect to be noticed. I took these a handful of times, making sure not to ingest any other supplements that could possibly lessen the effects from this kava and I really could not notice any effects. It seems other reviewers had a more positive experience, so take my review with a grain of salt, but I would definitely expect more noticeable effects for this price.

In the description it says 600 mgs kavalactones per serving. It should read 60 mgs. They do this twice. Deception or incompetent? One capsule has just 30 mgs kavalactones so weak but expensive

So I tried some other brand gummies and it really hurt my kidneys, stomach, liver and I was about to give up on Kava when I seen that FijiKava had a really good coupon sale going on so I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did because it works and it is calming with less to none of the nasty effects I had with gummies. Also the price on these is pretty good right now.
