Does what it's supposed to and saves on cleaning.Only downside is that when I do jacket potatoes the amount of steam it generates, drips over the plate and leaves a puddle on the glass turntable. It might be my fault as I might have the settings too high, as I have just purchased a new microwave, more powerful than the last one. Used it for warming and it's great. Drummed it into my son he better use the splatter guard everytime or there will be trouble, as he is a heavy user of the microwave

I have what I thought was a standard sized microwave but I struggled to get a cover that fitted. This was the only one that did but even then it only just fits inside. The cover works well and collapses, although I leave it extended. One issue is to remove the cover if you pick it up by the small handle and there is any steam, your hand is directly over the vent holes which isn't great. It's okay but I would prefer something smaller.

After a year and a half using my “new” microwave, I decided that I should get a cover to protect it from fodd spits... I think the red pasta sauce is the worst to clean and I can definitely say that I don’t have this problem anymore (as long as I remember to use it, lol)I loved the fact that I can collapse it making it smaller and the material used is the best quality.Personal Opinion: Go for it. Good value for money and it does what it is supposed to do with a functional design.

This plate is very handy! I like that you can use it for more than one thing. It's all made from silicone, heat proof and it looks durable. I can't comment further on durability because I haven't had it for that long. I put 5 stars anyway because it looks and feels good quality. The fact that it collapses makes it easy to store, it doesn't take too much space and it's also easy to clean. Highly recommended.

This is a good and very large plate cover for covering food being microwaved on a plate. Its also very deep so does not get too covered in items when they explode when over cooking ! - Cleans up well but will take a lot of room in the dishwasher . Finally it can be dual used as a collender !

description says 600 deg f..(400 deg C).it melted when covering chicken in the conventional oven mode of microwave.i removed it and continued to cook. the temp of the cooked chicken probe was 80 deg C.even allowing for double that it would have only been max 200 deg C inside the oven.Obviously the description needs changing.I wanted to use it as a spitting guard over the plate to keep the microwave clean.(I thought it was too good to be true, doh!)description needs changing so people like me don't waste our time. Only good for microwaves but not convection. refunded by Amazon :)

The media could not be loaded. Pretty much what I expected! This isn't a complex product, so the fact that I don't have much to say about it is probably a good thing!The cover sits perfectly on my (regular size) dinner plates. When using on bowls, the cover overlaps the bowl and rests on the edge of the bowl using the inside ridges.The cover fits easily within my 23L microwave.The cover feels well made and robust, I expect it will last a long time. My only criticism is that the cover is fairly stiff and can be more difficult than expected to open/collapse. I always keep mine open, so this hasn't been much of a problem for me anyway! (Update: it has become less stiff over time)

Such a good purchase. Use this everyday and has saved a lot of mess! It catches every splatter from baked beans, custard you name it. I much prefer cleaning this in the sink that spending a day cleaning out the microwave! I’d say this is a must have for the kitchen!
