good tool
does exactely what it's supposed to do, i recomend it to all golfers. Most people who play golf neglect the most important aspect of the golf club which are grips and grooves.

Sharp
Price was quite high considering what you get. Solid metal. Cleans and sharpens the grooves of the club. Easy to use. Simple but effective.

could be better
as a grove sharpner I found it difficult to do the job it was designed for, why is there no handle to grip it properly? it can't be difficult... for an extra 50p it could have been a good tool..as it is you have to grip it with your fingers .. not ideal.. if you had a vice to hold the club in maybe it would be O.K. but in its present state and the angle you have to hold it to do the job... difficult, I am being generous giving it three stars

Highly recommended
This little item will restore your clubs back to new (or nearly new anyway)Spin will be easier as will ball flightWhats not to like? You dont need to press too hard to get the grooves cleaned and sharpenedYou DO however need to protect each end of your club head with masking tape as however careful you are the sharp head of the groover will skid across the face when it leaves the groove

Complete Waste Of Money
Straight out of the packet, this is a complete waste of time other than as a groove cleaner, which an old tooth brush will do adequately well at without marking your clubs. For this to cut a new edge on the groove it needs to have a defined angle on the cutting edge of the tool which combined with relative movement will remove material from the club face creating a new groove edge . This is little more than a piece of bar stock with poorly machined parallel flats on one end and is made from steel no harder than the club itself so cannot perform it's role. I'm interested to hear what the seller has to say: if this is genuinely a bad one off defect then let's discuss and I'll post an update. Otherwise avoid at all costs; as someone else has stated, a flat bladed screw driver will do the same job for free!

Solid
A good tool and solid in shape. And it is doing it work very well. If anything, expensive for what it is......

Groove cleaner not a sharpener
More a grove cleaner than a sharpener, didn’t really touch the metal even pushing as hard as possible

Not a quality item.
During the first use the chromium plating started to peel off. The sharpener still appeared to clean the grooves of my clubs but it is quite awkward to use.
