These backpacks are outstanding. So many children's backpacks focus on the style and overlook the importance of form and comfort, especially when it comes to the straps and back of the backpack. These backpacks are durable, attractive, and they have three very good pockets and two mesh inner compartments as well. The largest compartment has a divider where one can stash papers and books so they don't bend, and an inner elastic band to hold things in place too. The side pockets for bottles are wide and deep, and they carry my child's bottle and banana to school everyday (on a bike) and they never fall out.The backpack has a safety whistle that is surprisingly loud and effective, straps for the waist that can be removed, and chest straps to hold the backpack in place when on a bike (for example). Very importantly, the shoulder straps and the backside of the backpack are well padded and very comfortable. I'm an adult and even I find my child's backpack comfortable!My child has used her backpack for two years now and it's in perfect condition (no rips, tears, holes). Without hesitation, I returned to buy my other child entering reception the same bag because I know it will last years.

I bought this after a long search trying to replace my sons harness that had become too small. He is Autistic and although physically 9 he is more like a toddler. He needs a harness when out in busy areas. Sadly it’s hard to find a harness for his age. I looked for hiking bags for kids and stumbled onto this one. It has plenty of pockets for him to store things. But mostly I like the way this fits on him like a harness. Please see photos. There are straps across the chest and another that wraps around the waist. Keeping this bag securely on him. Then there are loops on the sides so I use these loops to attach his reigns and voila we have a harness/bag. This feels sturdy and also I like the fact the straps on his shoulders are thick and padded. With reflectors. Making it safer in winter too. I can’t believe how well this works. I have already had someone stop me in the street and ask where I got it. Told me he looks very smart. It has proven to be waterproof and a great bag for carrying my sons spare clothes and nappy. We never go out without it. The reigns did not come with the bag. I had those already. I would recommend this bag for anyone struggling to find a harness for their special needs child

My son loves it (his favourite colour is blue though so it was an easy win on that front!). Its well made - its been my son's school rucksack (primary school) for months now and looks as good as the day we bought it, so am very happy with the quality. It fits his books (A4 size) well with plenty of space for lunch. Is probably a bit small though for secondary school and the extra textbooks you can end up needing to carry around. But for primary school and day trips out its a great size, very well made and my son (7 years old) finds it comfortable to wear. Very much recommend.

Bought for my toddler as their nursery/childcare bag. Big enough to pack all that they need for the day, but just right for them to also carry when they wish. Lots of useful compartments and nice and bright for visibility.

Pros:- Lots of internal compartments and one external zipped pocket- 2 x water bottle holders that actually hold normal sized bottles- Size is perfect for my 5 year old who loves this- Chest strap makes this feel secure for my child- Seems to be robust and well madeCons:- Not sure how waterproof this is, but not sold as such, so more of a preference than a complaint- Peculiar extra long adjustable strap that seems to serve no discernible purpose - kind of annoying flapping about around the legs

I needed a backpack that is a hybrid between school bag and backpack for trips.This backpack design is really good - smaller than typical 18l school bag, but with 2 big pockets you can fit a lot: the first pocket fits A4 folder in the compartment (see the picture) and the light snack, the second pocket for some clothes etc.I like that it can be used for school, school trips etc.My kids use cheststrap, so the backpack doesn't slide out (eg. on the bike). The wastestrap can be easily removed (see the picture).The backpack has some reinforcement on the back - so it does stand on its own, the fabric is not thin, so I expect it to be reasonably showerproof.What could be better:- limited colour choice for girls,- the handle is extremely thin, I don't see it lasting (see the pictures),- it would be nice to have waterproof bottom of the backpack.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and recommend.
