Works great on my boat

Works without any mechanical concerns or issues . .
The media could not be loaded. Easy to use, power is as expected, light weight, functions perfectly. A pleasant surprise from an unknown brand.Con: The noise level is extra.I am new to boating so it may just be extra loud to me.I sold my 12โ aluminum fishing boat with this motor. It is always a bonus sale if it comes with extras and a nearly new motor is a very nice extra. The motor is light weight making this motor easy to transport.Used motors of same/similar specs are much more expensive than this motor is brand new. Donโt let the unknown brand be a deterrent and bringing ear plugs may not be a bad idea. ๐๐ผ

Runs well
I went down river with my 12' flatbottom when I shouldn't have...too swift that day. This little motor ran full bore against the current for what seemed like miles, actually maybe a half mile, but a storm blew in and things got real serious. I was hoping the little engine would keep it up and it got me back to to where I could beach my small ship.Decent little motor for the money.

a decent little motor
This motor is fine if you use it appropriately. It is little, it will never push a heavy load. I use it on my RIB, to go back and forth from the dock to the mooring, and its good enough. It does struggle a bit against a strong tidal current, and it uses quite a bit of gas. But it does the job.It is important that you do your homework on the internet, because the manual is beyond useless. The motor must be prepared before use.First, remove the propeller and shear pin, set them aside.Remove the seal and fill it with gear oil.Take out the cheap sparkplug, and replace it with a good one (seriously, this is important).Run the motor for ten one hour sessions, in water, utilizing a 35:1 oil ratio. (check screws and stuff)Drain and replace the gear oil.Replace the shear pin and propeller.Run the motor with a 50:1 ratio for routine operation.OK, it good to go. Enjoy, but have reasonable expectations.

This thing is great!
The media could not be loaded. Bought it and it got to my house quick. Attached it to our kayak and it goes 5 to 10 mph. Definitely would recommend it!

Cheaply made
Save your money and buy a name brand motor. I used it for the first time yesterday; the cover is already cracking. Run from this product. The biggest shame, because it is made in China, is I just contributed to strengthening them.
