Great kit but
Just out the box dose a great job on potato onion and finger nail thought I would not need the hand guard half my nail and bit of the top of finger gone lol. SO PLEASE USE THE SPIKED HAND GAURD ALL THE TIME PLEASE

Not too easy to clean after slicing carrots but then nothing is. Does everything I need it for and is robust.

This couldn’t julienne carrots so we sent it back for a refund

Perfect for Dauphinoise potatoes etc
Manually slicing up 4x large potatoes for a terrine/Dauphinoise etc can take ages - with 'wobbly' results.Not with this Mandoline.Whap, Whap, Whap and you're done - perfectly even slices every time.One 'trick'?'Square up' your potato, before you start, and you will have no problem creating perfectly flat layers.

Just what I wanted !
I've always promised to get myself one of these as they are handy. I haven't used it as yet as packed up to move some time soon (hopefully !) However it looks just fine + I was happy with price & dely.

The blade is very sharp!!
Nice product, does the job, always use the safety holder when slicing and use a dish washing brush to clean.The item arrived on time
