Lectron Level 1 EV Charger Good Product and Purchase
I liked that it was near $100 on sale, and that it only pulls 11.6 amps on the circuit when in use (I measured it to be sure it didn't exceed my outlet rating). So far it has worked flawlessly and I am using it on a 20 amp 120v circuit that only powers the outside outlets on my home and one outlet in the garage. I noticed on my home even though my panel had a 20 amp breaker for that circuit and used 12 ga wire on it the outlets were only 15 amp outlets, so I did have my recepticles replaced with a 20 amp recepticles (almost looks the same) to be sure I did not overload it. However after monitoring its output on numerous occassions I realized it never exceeded 11.6 amps which is within a 15 amps circuit ability to provide safe usage (from my understanding you should not exceed 80% of your circuits capacity, so 11.6 amps / 15 amp circuit = .77, then multiply by 100 and you get it runs at 77% capacity). I mention this because if you are plugging it in to a 15 amp circuit, you need to be sure you don't have other devices using that outlet that use much power, because if you do you will overload it surpassing the 80% rule. For those who don't understand electrical, its a good charger, just be sure other accessories are not plugged into the same circuit when you charge your car if using a 15 amp circuit in my opinion, otherwise you might melt your recepticle. Great charger, good price and I am using it outdoors in front of the house, so I decided to buy an outdoor water proof outlet cover which is lockable, so I could plug in the charger and lock the cover so nobody can just walk up and unplug it and walk off with it. The outlet cover was bought on amazon as well as the lockable J1772 fixture/cable holder. That way when I leave for work and I am not using it, others can't walk off with the charger or plug in their vehicle to it (just in case another was thinking of utilizing my charger - very unlikely I know, but people do odd things these years). In case anyone else is trying to set theirs up in front of the house as well so you can keep your vehicle charged overnight here are the cover and fixture/cable holder descriptions I used to set this up: J1772 EV Charger Nozzle Holster Dock, with Anti-Theft Password Lock, and TayMac MX3300 RaynGuard Extra Duty Metal Weatherproof in-Use Cover, 1-Gang, Gray. Hopefully others will find this useful, both the holder and fixture cover are very easy to install and everything was up and running in about 30 minutes or so.

Great Quality and Works as advertised. Good Value
Needed a Level 1 Charger for my newly acquired Kia EV6 GT.Apparantly they do not come with a charger. After doing research and reviews I ended up with the Lectron. It was a popular name in the field with great Value for the price. It had great packaging and presentation - good warranty. The cable is nice and thick and it worked right out the box and continues to work.Very easy to use and came with a nice case for when I need to stop it away or take it with me.Highly recommended!

Good charger check the amps before you by
15amp works well but be careful most outlets are 15amp and should not draw more than 12 amps continuously to be in electrical code standards so make sure your car has setting for 12amps or just by the 12amp one.

Works fine for a Chrysler Pacifica, but needs to be replugged after every charge.
I've used this charger for a Chrysler Pacifica. At 15 amps, it charges is less time (11 hours) than the OEM product (14 hours). It has a convenient hook for hanging on the wall. However, I found I had to replug it into the wall after every charge, otherwise it throws an error.

Was skeptical now happy with my purchase
UPDATE: after a couple of weeks the charger is still working great, happy with my purchase so far. Quality of the charger is good and no issues. The charger works great, but it has a musty smell like it has been sitting in a basement for a long time. When delivered it was just the box with a shipping label slapped on. Regular packages from Amazon have some kind of covering over the box but not this one. Hopefully there are no issues.

Can’t beat it for the price
Just acquired a 2022 tesla model 3 long range almost 2 weeks ago. Only to find out the later ‘22 models don’t come with the tesla portable charger anymore. It was my fault for assuming it came with it. Anyway I bought this in a hurry. And was very pleased with how it looked when it was arrived.I bought it “used” here on Amazon but when it arrived it looked brand new. Like literally brand new. So not sure how it’s used. Anyway I don’t have level 2 240v in my house (YET) so this will do for now. I don’t travel far, only 18 miles each day but cold weather takes a toll on your range. So far in the past week or so with relatively cold temps especially at night of around 25-30F, I will lose an additional 15 miles of range per day. Since I am a car enthusiast I do have a heavy foot so my usual 18 miles a day can easily go to about 45-50 miles of lost range a day, with the cooler temps. Not ideal if you’re relying on level 1 charging. It’s not a big deal for me since I have a Tesla supercharger 1.8 miles from my house. But I like convenience and I have 3 other cars to drive so this will do in the meantime.I get home from work at 5:30pm, plug in the car and I unplug at around 6am to leave for work. That’s enough for around 72-75 miles of range added each night.I set this charger through the app at 15A. Because I’m using my dryer outlet to plug this into. It charges at a very consistent 6mi/hr.So far no issues except one time I opened the dryer door by mistake and the dryer light came on and that was enough to send a fault through the charger and it stopped charging. I did have to go back outside to the car and unplug the charger and replug it. I couldn’t just restart the charge from the app after the fault. So that’s a small inconvenience. But it’s good to know there’s a safety built into this in case something goes wrong if you’re charging the car while you sleep. It’ll just stop charging instead of trying automatically possibly tripping your breakers or something worse. This is definitely worth the money so far. Will update if I foresee any issues.
