BugabooGiraffe Newborn Set for Giraffe High Chair and Rocker, Ergonomic Design, Tornado Grey

This newborn seat has turned out to be one of the most used items we've purchased for our newborn. As a first time mom, I didn't know if I would actually use it, since there are other chairs, swings, etc that can be used to put your baby somewhere while the parent gets something done. But this one is used the most by us. It feels safer in terms of the angle and position of the seat. Our baby's head stays up, resting on the back of the chair, vs falling forward. I am able to have her in the seat while I do dishes or things around the kitchen. And we can eat our meals with baby right there.For our family, it was also useful early on because our small dogs (chihuahuas) couldn't reach her, so we could put her in the chair when they were first getting acclimated to her (obviously this would only work for you if your dogs are tiny). Also, the angle that keeps the baby sitting upwards makes it a good place to seat her if you want to feed her a bottle. The upward position helps the milk to go down and I feel that it helps prevent air going in when she eats, so this is good for babies who tend to have reflux or spit up a lot. (We still have to pick her up to burp her though.)We've already washed the cover several times due to spit up and other accidents. I was able to put it in the dryer and it came out fine. Easy to put back on the chair and looking fresh again.I'm so glad we bought this and I highly recommend it as an essential purchase with the Bugaboo Giraffe high chair. Can't imagine not having it.

We didn't buy the high chair until our baby was nearly old enough to sit in it. I wish I would have bought it earlier so we could have used this attachment. We would have loved to have this when baby was small to have him at table height during dinner time. Love the accompanying rocking portion, too.

I ordered this right before our daughter was born , we already had the high chair from my baby shower. So glad I decided to splurge on this add on, it’s been so nice to have her sit at the table with us and it’s also very convenient for when I’m cooking or doing dishes to have something quick and ready to put her in. The quality is great, easy to strap her in and very secure.

We didn't get this until our daughter was 3 months old, but wish we had it since day 1. It's so special to have her at eye level during dinner time, and other times of the day, rather than in a bouncer on the floor. Worth every penny! Not to mention she loves when we use it with the rocker attachment. So easy to move it between the high chair and the rocker. Wonderful design by Bugaboo - love it!

We use the newborn attachment for our Bugaboo Giraffe daily. Our baby loves being at eye level with us and it’s so nice to have him nearby while we make coffee or eat dinner. This seat also allows him to be out of reach of our smaller dogs. This is one of our most used baby items and I’m so glad we put it on our baby registry. I also love that the high chair will grow with our baby once he outgrows the newborn attachment. We haven’t washed the cover yet but it has been easy to wipe down with a soapy washcloth when needed.
