Best night’s sleep, worth every penny!
I was on the hunt for a pillow that wouldn’t leave me flipping it over all night from overheating—and the Coop Eden Cool+ absolutely delivered. From the first night, I could tell the difference. It’s cool to the touch, but not in a gimmicky way—it stays that way, even when I wake up in the middle of the night. What I really love is how adjustable it is. I took a bit of the fill out to get the perfect loft for side and back sleeping, and it made a huge difference in neck support. No more waking up with a stiff neck or sore shoulders. The quality is top-notch too—nice weight, super soft cover, and it feels way more high-end than other pillows I’ve tried in this price range. I honestly didn’t expect to love it this much, but now I’m recommending it to all my friends and family. If you’re a hot sleeper or just picky about pillows, give this one a shot. It’s made a real difference for me.

Less hot.
The big question is, does this pillow provide a cooler sleep experience compared to other pillows. The answer is yes if your definition of cooler is less hot. It does not feel particularly cooler to the touch than other pillows. In fact, I have pillows that feel like they're cooler than the room temperature but are not as good at managing the heat while I sleep. This pillow does a better job at dissipating heat and I wake up with a less sweaty pillow case. I also don't wake up as often in the middle of the night to flip the pillow over. So while I'm happy with this pillow's performance compared to other pillows, it's not the sole answer to all my temperature regulating problems.Coolness aside, this pillow is very nice. It comes packaged in a way that expresses high quality, and the materials back up that impression. I fluffed it and let it air out for 24 hours as recommended, and was rewarded with a lovely semi-firm comfy pillow. I used all the extra filling because I like a more beefy pillow. I got the queen size pillow, but I think it's even bigger than that, which I really like. Once it's stuffed in the included case and placed into my bedding case, it ends up being a substantial size that retains its shape really well. I also like that the included case has a firm side and a more smushy side. Now all I need is the justification to spend the money to get a second one.

Well made and flexible to suit many types of sleepers
Pillows are such a subjective item so it's difficult to write a review. I won't tell you what to buy but I will talk about my experience with The Coop Eden. We've had several pillows around the house over the years and the most recent was a pretty soft latex pillow that we purchased several years back. I've personally had some unrelated neck issues so thought it was time to make an upgrade seeing how important sleep is and how detrimental a bad pillow can be.BackgroundI am primarily a back and occasional side sleeper with 2 bulged disks in my neck. Seeing how difficult it is to actually test pillows (outside of ordering them during a trial and sending them back) I wanted one that was flexible enough to be usable by a range of sleeping types. I also wanted something with good construction, easy maintenance, a warranty behind it and a fill material that was moderately supportive. I also didn't want to spend $200 on a pillow.ReviewAfter way too much research, I ended up selecting the Coop Eden as my primary pillow and I have been pleased. Straight out of the box I liked the packaging and the way the material was written in a friendly tone with simple instructions. Those are the intangibles that help make a great product. I also liked how the material was easy to fluff from the package by just throwing in the dryer. The pillow had a lot of fill by default but came with more fill which is a bonus. I even like the shape and feel of it. It feels much more premium than other pillows I've had and the gusseting is a nice touch. As for the feel in bed, it's both soft and supportive, which is what I wanted. There was too much fill for me by default, so I removed some, but thankfully that is easy and that is one of the core highlights of this product. I am not completely sold on the cooling features, but some may notice it more than I. I feel that some of that gets negated by the pillow case. The final thing I'll mention is there is a slight smell that has dissipated over time. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it's there and almost nutty if I had to describe it. So far, a great pillow upgrade.Plusses+ Great packaging and product literature. Like the style+ Was easy to fluff+ Easy to adjust fill (and comes with extra fill)+ Gusseting adds both a functional and cosmetic touch (may be a negative if you prefer the sides of your pillows to taper more)+ Price is high but lower than other premium competitorsMinuses- Not completely sold on the cooling features of it (your mileage may vary)- Had a slight nutty smell when new. Not bad but present.

Great Pillow and Highly Adjustable
I have used a Claritin Down Alternative Pillow in the past, but they are no longer available. I am very picky with my pillows and have had a difficult time finding one that fits my needs. I decided to purchase the Coop Pillow despite the high cost. After several weeks of use, I am glad I found this one. The pillow has just the right amount fluff and support. I like that it comes with extra fill that I can use to adjust the its firmness, but I didn't need it. I'm a side sleeper and it was great right out of the box. The outer shell of the pillow is soft and very good quality. I am so glad that I found an alternative to my Claritin Pillow. The reason I only gave it 4 stars are for two simple reasons. First, the cost. This product is very comfortable, but there is no magic to its construction. The fill appears to be just finely shredded memory foam. The extra fill doesn't even come in a storage bag. It is wrapped in plastic. If you open it, you will need to find a separate storage container to put the excess fill. For this price, I would expect more. Second, this pillow is advertised as being "cool" to sleep on. However, I find it warmer than other pillows to the point it seems to trap heat. My wife has the standard Coop Pillow and I feel that it is "cooler" than this version. Of course, this is very subjective and you will need to test for yourself. Overall, this is a great pillow that has endless adjustability due to the extra fill provided. A pillow for everyone!
