It is strong
This cover is very generous, and not skimpy in its construction. It is also stain proof. All you have to do is wipe the affected area with a damp cloth with a little liquid soap, and it removes any stains. It also gives the area a neat appearance, and protects the machine. I am pleased with this purchase.

Fit our Whirlpool washer very well. Color is rich and the material is quality. I wish it were much thicker, however, to protect the new and costly washer in case items fall on it.

My dryer is outside, open to the elements and on the first day that it rained just a bit, it went through the cover. Fits great but definitely not water proof.
