Arrived on time, very easy to fit.

These lampholder bases worked very well. I needed to change the lamps in some downlighters in my hall from 12v Halogen to LED and was able to disconnect the old 12v lampholders, remove the 12v transformers, and connect the mains direct to these lampholders, then insert 240V LED lamps. The old Halogen ones kept burning out and used about 60W as opposed to the new LED ones which use 4W !! the difference is remarkable. So the 4 downlighters are now consuming 12W total as opposed the halogens which consumed 240W total, and they last almost forever and are brighter - get them from the pound shop - great result! I've done this to about 10 spots and downlighters so far.David
