This is almost a Narnia like scene with all the pale blue and white tones used in the image. Strangely, this works well with the peacock and the muted tones work quite well with the simplified detail of the image. The tail is highlighted in greens and this works well to make the plumage stand out and also gives a good feel of the "eyes" on the feathers.On the whole diamond paintings are very Impressionistic when worked in round drills. This means they are much better viewed from a distance. Anything over arms length generally works but the image composition is as important as the actual distance. The image needs to be structured in such a way that it invites your eye to travel around the image so that you don't start focusing on the diamonds. This is my first adventure into the great big world of diamond painting and I am impressed with the quality, as far as I can see (seeing this is my first time) it includes everything you need to complete and they even say on the instructions ‘if you run out of a certain colour because there isn’t enough in the pack, just contact them and they’ll sort it out for you’, I haven’t needed to try this out yet, but if I need to, I will.
