This is so helpful for getting up and down stairs safely with a broken leg. So much more stable than the crutches.It is adaptable to your own staircase, so easy to set up.

This was purchased for an elderly person to help with garden steps. Unfortunately, we had to return it as the user did not find it easy to use nor sturdy enough. This was partly because the garden steps it was meant for were slightly different heights so once you select the height, it’s not variable and unsafe. Also, it’s awkward to store when not in use as it naturally tilts. May work much better for uniform house stairs.It took a couple of weeks to arrive as not dispatched from Amazon and came from abroad, but the seller was good and offered a free return collection and refund.

This is a lightweight frame. Easy to put together. Sturdy. So the frame was good but my husband was not able to use it. He had a stroke and lost the use of his left arm and partial use of his left leg. He manages the stairs well at home as we have a rail on both sides. We bought the frame for use elsewhere. The instructions on this frame say to hold banister with the other hand! This was why we needed it , to walk upstairs without a rail. So it will depend on your disability whether you can use this. We were very disappointed as he couldn't even manage one step with it. Unfortunately we had to return it. Returning was an easy process and free.
