Easy to use for young children

My granddaughter has had great fun with this kit. There is such a great variety of beads. Each time my granddaughter comes over she likes to create a new bracelet for me.

I remember when my girls were young and loved making, wearing, and giving bracelets. I uncovered one in my desk the other day. Now it’s the grand daughters turn and I expect the same enthusiasm again. This is a nice starter kit with an adjustable braiding loom. The big problem I have in getting stuff like this out, is keeping my wife from wanting to make one.

I totally forgot that I had this kit until the other day. I got it out and decided to play with it with some of the neighbor's daughters. They had no trouble following the directions. They tore into the kit and made everything that they could and had fun doing so. Now I, being left brained just read the directions and thought they would not be able to do it but they showed me. This is a follow and do with the directions. They are ages 8 and 10.

This has a loom and an elastic to braid around so the bracelets stretch! I love the way the center piece can be changed out.

It was about $16 when I ordered it and Walmart had an almost identical kit for $10. Right now they are doing the whole bait and switch by cranking the price and knocking it down for black Friday. The kit itself is pretty basic and comparable to other kits. But the materials all feel pretty cheap, mostly with the strings/ropes. The materials do not look nearly as nice as advertised. I wouldn't order it again.
