Q: does it automatically shut off after several minutes

The manual says it shuts off after 60 minutes. (I've never put it to the test).

Q: does this unit has dual voltage, 120-240v?

I used to have this when I was living in the Philippines (240V) my aunt bought this for me from US (110V) and it worked fine without any converter or adapter. When I plugged in, no short circuit or whatsoever.

Q: are the plate 100% ceramic?

The user manual from Conair's website says they are coated, not 100% ceramic. Based on the price I would assume that's true.

Q: Does this product come with a comb or brush attachment? That you can slide on to one end of the straightening plates?

No, unfortunately it doesn't come with that
