Ruidi 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 (3.0-6.5mm)

I'm really enjoying these crochet hooks. The metal is smooth and glides through the yarn with no snags. The length of the handle feels excellent in the hand and the length of the hook is long enough to not feel like there isn't enough room when doing a cluster or puff stitch. The whole thing is lightweight. The only possible negative is no flat spot for your thumb. This isn't a negative to me but I know some people like to have that. All in all, highly recommend. I got the smaller hooks and the set of larger ones too because I liked them so much.

Not my favorite but okay to use. Also comfortable enough and smooth shaft that doesn’t snag the yarn.

Like the extra long handle. Fits great in palm of hand.

Maybe it's because I use a lot of acrylic yarn, but I was very disappointed in these hooks, especially for the price. When I first got them, I could tell from just running my fingers over the hook that they were rough--I mean really rough. I've gotten free and cheap hooks that were smoother. They really resist going through the acrylic yarn for crochet, which means I'm fighting every stitch. My other issues are minor, but they are things like the length of the shank (or whatever you call the part between the hook and the part you grip) is so long that I end up gripping the shank instead of the grip/handle part which means any ergonomic design for the handle is pretty much negated by this. So I've gone back to my other, cheaper crochet hooks simply because they glide through the yarn and stitches with ease as opposed to the pulling/fighting I have to do with these hooks.I may try using some fine grit sandpaper on the hooks just to see if I can make them any smoother because I actually needed the smaller size hooks included in this set. Sigh. I really don't want to buy any more hooks...

My hands and wrists love these hooks. wood is soft and easy to hold. Hook don’t snag/catch on the yarn.

Seems like a nice set but, got two 5.5 mm and no 5.0 mm. Would be a waste of time to return and replace the whole set. 5.0 mm is the one I need most.

I am a long time crocheter, my mom taught me when I was a child. I have a collection of vintage hooks as well as newer hooks. It's so hard to find larger sized hooks that aren't plastic. These are wonderful to work with.
