I purchased this Spiderman 5 minute stories for my 5 year old son who loves spiderman. It is an excellent size, and I feel is ideal as there are several stories in one book, rather than loads of other little books. The illustrations are excellent, realistic, but comic book style. The Avengers and Fantastic 4 are included along with classic spiderman villians (ie vulture, sandman, mysterio, the lizard, the green goblin, electro,etc. Most of the pages are half to full page illustrations with a couple of sentences per page. My son is too young to read it, but my 7 year old has been reading it to him. Excellent book of stories and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good spiderman book for a spiderman fan!

My 3yr old is just loving this at bedtime.Short stories with some great graphics.

Beautifully illustrated story book for children ages 2 and up. The book is around the same size as A4 paper and about 2/3rds of an inch thick. Each story is a perfect size for bedtime reading for young superhero fans. There are around 3-4 lines of text on each page with accompanying illustration. Even though the amount of text is small I find the children spend even more time discussing what is happening in the illustrations. So some imagination at work for sure on the part of the kids.The cover of the book is nice, bright and shiney, and has that sort of padded feel finish to it. So although it is a heavy book and well finished it is comfortable to hold in bed. Each page is on relatively thick paper, perhaps 2 sheets of A4 thick so while not easily tearable you do have to watch out. Although the hard cover is larger than the pages and so shelters the edges of the pages.For the price I wasn't expecting too much given the overpriced nature of anything popular for children these days but I was very impressed by the value on offer here. I bought this one and the Marvel Stories one.

really good book all the stories are quite short and to the point so perfect for bedtimes. the pictures inside are well drawn and colored. the cover is a hard back so a little heavy if you'd prefer to hold it but i just lay it down on my sons bed and he leans over and cuddles up to my side to read it with me. he is only 3 and for some reason loves spider-man, mommy says daddy brainwashed him but that can't be i'm an iron man fan through and through.

The cover of the book is of excellent quality - strong and sturdy as well as colourful.Page text easy to read with pictures that are stimulating and colourful.Not read yet as a gift which I am sure will be thoroughly enjoyed.

Wonderful book! My 5 year old grandson is superhero mad and will never settle without a couple of bedtime stories. Not always easy when you are exhausted at the end of a day at work so this was bought by my son for his brother with him in mind! Dad loves the book as much as his little boy!

I bought this for a 4 year old who is just beginning to love super-heroes. Lovely, colorful pictures throughout the stories and just the right length for before bed-time. A solid starter book for any super-hero loving child.
