I use Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturizer & while that was fine when I wasnt using any actives & my heater was always on, now my skin is feeling a lot more dry and irritated due to the AC, benzoyl peroxide, and AHAs. When I put this product on top of it I woke up with my skin no longer being inflamed, irritated, & it felt a lot more plump and bouncy. Definitely give this a try if you break out from trying to use Vaseline or heavier occlusives!

I am so glad they added a sleeping pack to the SoonJung Line. This is a line for sensitive skin that features madecassoside (active ingredient in Centella Asiatica. Madeicassosidet is great for redness and healing. It also stops itching. I have been seeing cica/medeassoside products all over, but most have irritating essential oils. La Roche Posay's Cicaplast doesn't, but it broke me out, though many like it. Then I found this line. It has no fragrance or irritants. Really calms my skin and helps eczema itching . This cream is a rich gel cream. It's meant to be your last sealing layer. If you use watery, hydrating toners and serums, this will keep them from evaporating as you sleep. It will seal and protect the skin. It does leave a film but isn't very sticky. It's very soothing. I also love the toner, which is very watery but can be layered. I use the balm, as a spot treatment for irritation. There is a lighter moisturizer called the Intense Barrier Repair that I use in the day. I am very dry so this is really great for me. Few creams hold during winter. Anything with petroleum breaks me out so it's been hard to find moisturizers that really held the fort, till this came out. You could use as thinner layer as well. But I do think this is more for dry skin, but perhaps a person with dehydrated oily skin might like it. It does have cetearyl alcohol, a fatty alchol, which could break out some people. This has some of the other actives in centella (asiatic acid, asiaticode, madecassic acid an madecassoside). They all target redness and healilng. Panthenol and squlane are seal in the skin. It has some great ingredients.Ingredients: water, glycerin, propanediol, panthenol, cetearyl alcohol, dicaprylyl ether, dicaprylyl carbonate, squalane, glyceryl stearate, copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, stearic acid, hydrogenated lecithin, lauroyl lysine, glyceryl caprylate, butylene glycol, polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, xanthan gum, ethylhexylglycerin, trehalose, asiaticoside, narcissus tazetta bulb extract, madecassic acid, sorbitan isostearate, disodium edta, asiatic acid, lactobacillus ferment lysate, madecassoside, tocopherol (vit e), glycine soja (soybean) oil, camellia sinensis leaf extract (green tea).

I love this sleeping pack (which honestly is better described as a balmy moisturizer, than your typical over-moisturizer sleeping pack).It is incredibly calming and non-irritating. I use prescription tretinoin (Retin-A), and this has been a savior. I also LOVE the Etude House Soonjung Hydro Barrier Cream, but it's winter now so this sleeping pack does a better job at locking in hydration. I haven't had this product pill up at all, and occasionally my skin actually feels cool to the touch (bc of the anti-inflammatory properties). That's a big deal for my acne-prone, active-stressed skin. Will definitely repurchaseA Tip: I enjoy apply the balm when my face is damp, or damp with serum. It helps the balm spread out faster and seals the underlying moisture. This balm, again, doesn't pill, so this method is foolproof.PS: One qualm is the cap mechanism. It's cool tech - twist to unlock, balm comes out in an O shape, can't cap unless u twist to lock it again. Would be great for planes and travel. However, it gets hard to create enough pressure inside to squeeze out balm when you're hallway through. The pro is that it means the packaging is airtight. The con is that I've binder-clipped the tube to create enough pressure. Small pet peeve

Okay so you buy this Bc the reviews are good and you want that glory skin. When you go to use it the first time don’t freak out. It will look like Vaseline on your face but don’t fret! It’s supposed to be like that. When you put it on your face your going to be like “no way this is not what my YouTube skincare gurus would want” but as you spread it on your face you will quickly see that this stuff is AMAZING. It sinks into your skin and won’t feel like you have anything on. So gentle and so effective. I use this at night and the 2x barrier cream in the morning and my skin is Mua! Chefs kiss.Ps I have acne prone oily in the summer dry in the winter skin and have been on accutaine twice. I’m trying to recover my skin from scarring and the damage for all those years and this stuff is pure magic

LOVE THIS PRODUCT LINE! I have very dry, sensitive skin and was looking for a moisturizer in this product line. I like the "2x Barrier Intensive Cream" but found it wasn't thick enough for my dry skin at night. I like using this Sleeping Mask both at night and in the morning if I'm feeling extra dry. Its definitely a last step and just a simple, clean, thick moisturizer. I use a lot of serums and actives (like retinol) and like to have this moisturizer to seal everything in and refrain from interacting with my other products. It's great for my sensitive skin! I can see people with normal or oily skin be unsatisfied with this but I love it! Buy from Etude House Official seller!

This saved my skin going through tret therapy when my skin was peeling/flaky and almost every other moisturizer I applied stung. The Soonjung line from EH is amazing but this is the only product I've repurchased consistently. Also received genuine product both times I've ordered from Amazon

I had to treat my entire face with a chemical for pre-cancers recently. My face looked like it had been set on fire. I needed to restore the skin barrier so off a recommendation of skincare tik tok I bought this. It worked wonders for restoring moisture and generally calming my face down. I will never not have this rotating in my skincare regimen. It feels so nice on the skin and you wake up with nice hydrated plump skin. (for reference I am 49 with combination skin)

My skin has been do dry because of retinol and this mask has been helping me a lot.Is really thick but it works really well.

I use it every night and my skin feels super soft next day.
