Multifunctional, lightweight, easy to store, and well-priced.
I keep these in my car, in case of emergency. We live in a climate that can get heavy snow storms in the winter and heat up into the 100s during the summer. These ponchos are rugged and lightweight. They fold up small enough to tuck in with my spare tire (completely out of the way), but they are adult size ponchos that are both waterproof and insulating (like the emergency blankets that I also keep in the car). I like that they are both bright orange (noticeable for emergency workers) and silver/reflective (for shelter in summer heat). These were a good price for the quality and will help me take care of my family in case of an emergency.

Why this is great for backpacking!
Why this particular one is a big win for backpacking! When I first got it, I thought the arm holes were super excessively large, but then I realized that when wearing my pack, I can unbuckle my waist buckle. Feed it through the arm holes and clip it back so the hole poncho is nice and tight around my body and pack super nice when there’s wind and such. When you’re not expecting any rain, but want to bring something just in case this is great. It’s a solar blanket too so in case if more cold than you expected, it’s also great and lastly, it is reversible to be completely reflective if you ever need that.

Excellent product at a great price
I wore this in the driving rain and stayed dry and warm. It is an excellent product, and not only for emergencies, but every day use.

I haven't used it yet....
But when the time comes that I do, I'll be glad I have it....it fits nicely in my glove compartment. I kept one and gave three to men folks that work outside..... The weather has been so crazy, at least we are prepared.... I like it!!
