It's really good. My cat is so like that,very easy to climb.

So this cost a lot more than cardboard scratching posts... but it's so much cleaner and can take three kitties scratching it instead of my sofa.

This turned out to be an adequate way to keep the cats from sharpening their claws on the molding around the doors. The means to secure it to the walls at the top is adequate, but we ended up rigging a means of securing the bottom to provide a stronger mounting. Without this additional security, the scratching post bangs against the wall and loosens the mounting at the top.

Bought this to protect the corner of my couch and it's not working as well as I'd like. (More like at all)Yes, my couch has square corners.Yes, it came with velcro tape.No, it didn't come with instructions.Yes, I even tried duct tape.Yes, it shipped quickly.Yes, it comes from China.Bottom line it's just not working. Maybe I'll try some other macgyvering but currently I would not buy this again.However, it does come with the option to screw it up on the wall/post. So if that's your plan go for it. It comes with two plastic anchors and screws. It has two leather like straps with premade holes on one edge.It also comes with a pair of gloves with plastic nubs for petting your critters. They're a bit on the small side. And what I'm guessing is a baggie of catnip?

The cats LOVE this scratchier. Downside is that the tabs wore of quickly (2 cats, lots of scratching), so I ended up just screwing the top part into the wall. Highly recommend esp if you have cats that like to scratch wooden corners.

We put it on the corner of a couch, and for a few days they ignored it, then they started scratching it, and by the end of the week they had torn it right off at the leather tags. Now we have the same couch with two leather tags at the top hanging down...

The mounting hardware that comes with and the attachment straps seem like cheap after thoughts. Had to go buy something else in order to mount them on the wall, which was a bummer.
