Very secure stiff cabling for non-traveling items. Not too flexible for bikes, scooters, motorcycles
Very nicely finished and sturdy not at all flimsy or cheaply made. Nice thick clear protective coating on the cabling and the end hooks/eyelets finished in 'A" typical Brinks blue and market price too.would definitely recommend for light towing maybe, backyard or garage securing and locking down. I gave it 5 stars on all of the above. However, truth be told I am returning it due to it dies not meet my current needs for bikes and scooters travel strap it's hysterical way too ridgid to tie around a bike pistol to ride with or even a scooter, motorcycles too, in my opinion. That's why I am returning it but in good conscience I cannot give it a 3 or 4 star on the hit or miss in my case. It's a great product for another use. So to recap very ridgid not easy to tie around bike or scooter or motorcycle pole to travel but great for permanent lockups👍

a giant cable
omg, this is a giant cable, thick, giant loops.....heavy. I'm not sure if this will be workable due to weight for bike. Now, I know cables are easily cut by wire cutters, chain cutters and ratched wire cutters, in seconds, but this is just a deterrent against the thief. The size will shoe away non-pro criminals though. Excellent quality, and price. Chains are better, but costlier

Good quality, heavy duty
Used this cableTo lock my boat to the dock. Works very well. Put a keyed alike padlock on each end. Heavy cable with a quality coating to keep from rusting. Would definitely buy again.

Thickest braided steel cable
This was the thickest braided steel cable I could find at the perfect length to keep my bike from getting stolen.

Good cable, slightly false claims
The steel part of this cable is 1/2 inch in diameter. The plastic coating gives it a 9/16 inch outside diameter. The claim that it's 5/8 inch thick is false, or at best, an exaggeration. Still, for a bike cable, it's thicker than most, probably more than enough, and it's a good buy for the price. Even with that false claim, I'd recommend it.

Secure and Solid Build
Heavy duty and well constructed. Way Better than others that are a few dollars cheaper. Spend the extra 2-3 dollars for this and have a greater sense of security.

Super heavy duty cable for my bike
This is a heavy duty cable -- much beefier than my previous bike cable. I believe it will provide much more protection and would be much more difficult to cut. My intended use is to carry it in my vehicle and use it to secure my bike to my vehicle's bike rack when parked. As others have mentioned, this would be difficult to carry on your bike given its size and weight - not impossible but you'd need to get creative. Also, you need a big lock as smaller lock shackles might not be able to close around both loops given the cable's larger diameter. I think this is perfect for my intended use. 7 feet is a great length for me, but if you want to secure 2 bikes to a bike rack with 1 cable you may want to consider a longer length.
