Great stuff!
I've tried many chunky cactus and succulent mixes, this by far is my top favorite. I add a bag of this to a bag of Espoma and it gives the right ratio for all my cactus and succulent needs. My cactus are thriving so much better and definitely are much happier. It's nice and chunky and gritty. Nice drainage, I don't have to worry about root rot. I would highly recommend, it's worth every penny and my 5 quart bag was definitely full to the top. Most bags are only half full. So you get what you pay for and if you're gonna spend money on expensive cactus and succulents you need a good soil the first time around.

My Favorite Substrate
My Mom recommended this to me (she also gifted me all of my plants, I wouldn’t have ever thought to buy them myself tbh, but now it’s a minor hobby of mine while at home). This stuff is really versatile, and can be used for a huge range of plants (especially if you combine it with other materials), although it is best for tropical plants that need aerated substrate but also need to be able to retain SOME water and be soil-like still (as opposed to pure orchid bark, moss or similar stuff). It’s very aerated and hard to over water; it drains well.I had a money tree that was dying of root rot back when I didn’t know what I was doing, and I repotted it with this soil and the tree came back a within a week or two. I probably won’t ever use a different mix for my monstera albo or money trees, I like this stuff. It looks and behaves like a chunky soil, so it’s easy to repot with (the plant won’t fall over when it’s dry like with orchid bark, for example). I’ve also checked my pH on my monstera with this and it’s neutral to slightly acidic, so it’s good to go.Like I said though, it somewhat resembles normal soil (albeit much chunkier) so when you use it, it will make a mess and get things dirty as opposed to orchid bark or something. So plan accordingly when replanting inside or whatever.Good stuff and very good value for the price IMO.

Perfect for monstera and pothos!
I used this mix to repot my aroids which include a monstera Thai constellation, monstera Adansonii and several types of pothos. This mix is very chunky, the chunkiest I’ve ever seen and worked with. It will not compact, even when wet, so any excess water will quickly drain. Give the bag a little shake/mix first to evenly distribute the different ingredients. As of this review it’s been a week since my plants were repotted. They didn’t experience any problems. No transplant shock, wilting, yellowing or browning. Instead they’re standing tall and releasing leaves that I thought weren’t going to make it (been having root rot problems prior to the repot). They look really happy and they’re thriving!Personally, I like that this mix doesn’t contain a lot of perlite. I dislike the appearance, how it yellows over time and its tendency to float to the top when wet. That just defeats the purpose of providing aeration to soil. So besides being chunky and gentle on my plants, this mix is aesthetically pleasing. The price may be a dealbreaker for some folks and technically you could make this mix yourself, but I live in a small space with limited storage, so having one little bag of mix is enough for me.

My picky, over-sensitive Alocacia loves it!
My tropical plants love it, so it’s worth the money. The size is a bit small considering how expensive it is but it truly is worth spending the extra $$ because it’s such a good quality product, and being so chunky it goes a long way. I haven’t had any issues with fungus gnats, or any other pests. It’s definitely more on the chunky side, so I add a little moss to help hold moisture, and for my peperomia I mixed in some of my normal potting soil with it as well and it’s been popping out new growth like crazy since making the change! Overall I’m pretty happy with the purchase.

Very good soil, but so expensive
I really like the potting mix and my plants are doing well. I just wish it wasn't so expensive for such a small amount. It potted about 4 small plants before I ran out.

This mix is perfect and all in one bag!!
Molly's is the only mix I use. If I need a little more soil I simply add it to this and mix. Not gonna lie, this is pricey but well worth it. It has saved many of my plants most recently a Song of India that I purchased online. Only planting medium I use. Highly recommend!

So far so good
My plants have been doing well in this aroid mix. I have been hesitant going soilless but so far so good! I like how chunky it is and how it retains moisture. There have been bits and pieces of big pieces in the bag but I was able to break or un-clump them apart to fit in the plant pots. This is definitely on the pricer side, but I'd rather pay the price than try and sit to make my own planter mix. Convenient to just order a bag of premade mix and pull from there. It's only been a few weeks and nothing has died so far. I think the mix is pretty equal in terms of the ingredients in there. I do plan to give it more time and see how my plants will do but so far I can't complain.

Happy Plants
I started repotting my arroids with this mix and it is amazing! I noticed more foliage growing, roots are healthy, my plants are happier than ever. It is indeed well draining and causes no compaction. I find it a little dry though, so I mix it with 1 part soil from miracle gro tropicals to at least keep some moisture and not leave my arroids dry in between waterings. Despite that, I’ll still give it a 5.

Wonderful stuff
Just wonderful mix. It has no smell; certainly nothing offensive. It drains effectively, looks terrific and is much easier to repot with than Miracle-Gro although I am not in way dissing Miracle-Gro. It's also good stuff and much less expensive than the aroid mix. If I want to spoil a plant, especially a longtime companion or a particularly picky tropical, then I'd spring for Molly's aroid mix.

Well made mix
Good mix, no soil at all. Hard to plant the orchid with it and it doesn’t really pack down- the next time i repot I will watch a video to see how experienced users do it.

high quality
Very happy with this orchid potting mix. Repotted my orchid (my first orchid plant) into this mix in a ceramic orchid pot from the small plastic pot it was purchased in from store after several weeks when it was not doing so well, and it is doing beautifully now. It is quite apparent that care was involved in the mix to benefit orchids and good quality ingredients chosen. I have plenty mix left - …perhaps more orchids?…a very unique beautiful flower plant and non-toxic for both people and animals. 😊
