Amazing lights for a 5th Gen 4Runner - plug and play
If you're in the market for LED fog lights for your 5th gen Toyota 4Runner, look no further than these Auxbeam pod style fog lights. Bright, well built, and they're plug and play!BUILD QUALITY & HARDWARE:The lights themselves are made with cast aluminum and feel sturdy, heavy and seem to be well put together. There are two mounting points on each side of the light and the kit comes with mounting brackets and all necessary hardware to surface mount your lights. It also comes with a wiring kit, which I did not use. I also purchased the Tacoma/4Runner kit which came with new bezels, mounting hardware and pig-tail adapter that adapts from the Auxbeam deutsch style connector to H11. The kit comes with two lenses, one amber/yellow and one clear. Behind each lens is a soft, what feels like silicone, seal which sits in a groove in the aluminum housing. I have faith that these will remain water tight as long as the seal is installed properly in the groove when changing the lens (check the gasket and allen screws before installing). My only real gripe with these lights is the paint/powder coat is inconsistent. The cooling fins are not properly painted and there are definitely lighter areas that don't have a complete coat of paint. If you're installing these behind a grill, in a bumper, or foglight housing, its not going to be an issue.INSTALLATION/TIPSIf you are installing these on a 4Runner, be aware that there are NO INSTRUCTIONS provided by Auxbeam and there are only a few videos online to guide you through the installation process. Anyone with a little DIY knowhow can figure it out, but it would have been nice to include a quick guide, pictures, or instructions. If installing in a 4runner's factory fog light housing, remember to rotate and instal the bezel 90 degrees so that the larger part of the bezel is facing towards the center of the truck when you instal the light. You will also have a little play, like 3/16th or less, to manipulate the light and reduce gaps. Don't tighten the two screws until you're satisfied with the gap and a second pair of hands would be helpful. The passenger OEM foglight on 4runners is covered by a rear plastic shield which can be a pain to remove. Undo 3-4 clips that hold the the front foglight plastic bezel, move it out of the way a bit and undo the shield clips from the front and it will pop out the back. I am satisfied with the fitment (see pics) as I was able to get the passenger side light dead on, but struggled with the driver side. For good measure, I added clear high temp silicone to properly set the gasket in the groove before assembly and added dielectric grease to the connectors to prevent corrosion.PERFORMACEOkay so these lights exceeded my expectations. Light output has to be at least equal or greater to my retrofitted LED headlight bulbs I installed last year. I opted to install the clear lenses as I needed more visibility on rural/forrest/desert roads as opposed to inclement/dusty weather and I don't off road at night. Without any kind of diffusion, they throw light high into the trees and well out towards the sides, illuminating the side of road. It's "brute force" lighting with little light control. The included amber lenses are split with a diffuser only at the bottom and I would think that might give you a little better light control. I'm happy with this set up though as it increases night visibility exponentially. I'm satisfied with the color, they don't quite match by headlights and I would guess they are just below 6500k.CONCLUSIONIf you're looking for reasonably priced LED pod-style fog lights or you want to replace those terrible 4Runner halogen fog lights, these are a good bet. I won't speak about longevity as I've just installed them but for the price, you get a lot of light output. I'm now looking to buy another set and install them with amber lenses behind my grill, they are THAT good.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great product, nice and bright and I like the strobe option as well. Only struggle was getting the rather large connector through the firewall.

AUXbean led lights amazing
Easy to install and very high quality material. Everything in one nice package. Lights work great. They are bright and exceed my expectations. I use them as ditch, fog lights on a sprinter van.

Auxbeam amber ditch lights
The media could not be loaded. Very dependable and bright ditch lights. I have these set up on my GX470 and also these are great for budget builds for off-road and overland setup it is water resistant not moisture in the lens housing. I have used numerous times off-roading and definitely works, lens don't fade or crack. I will buy again for sure.

Nice lights, but could be brighter and with better features for the price
These lights are pretty bright for their size, and the integrated DT-style pigtail which is molded into each light is very nice. The harness that came with was of good quality, even though I spliced it into my control box instead of using the relay and switch it came with. The only reason i'm giving four stars instead of 5 is that the light requires disassembly to change between amber and white lenses. Many lower-price lights have snap-on easily changeable covers. That would have made it a 5-star review.

Let there be light!
We have a set set up as ditch lights and a set as rear facing lights on our 4Runner. These are super bright, easy to install and come in great packaging. Love this company and their products.

Quality and good addition!
I bought 3 pairs of these amber lights for my Can Am X3 and I love them. I’m not done wiring them yet but I tested it all and they are very bright and have a high quality build feel! I have had multiple AuxBeam lights in the past and they are great.I wish there was an option for multi packs that came with a single wiring harnesses for more than 2 lights. I got splitters to allow 4 lights on one harness.Aux, I’ll be a product tester 🙃
