careful what reviews you listen to
this review is different because the way I listen with these earbuds are different. first of all I will be breaking this review down into two parts first part is how you would listen to these out of the box second part is how I listen to themfirst of all don't listen to the reviews that say these headphones disconnect after they stop playing audio I took these to class today and had them on but not playing anything they stayed connected the entire time same when I listened on my PC no spots where they cut out or when one ear played but the other didn't all together the Bluetooth is good. now on to sound quality and how they feel in the ear. these earbuds were made for running and the design of these make it so you can listen to music but still have a conversation with someone or hear a car coming up behind you without having to take them out or pause your music. that being said they have no noise canceling witch is bad if you want noise canceling but good if you buy these for their intended use. because of this they do not create a seal in your ear canal that being said they still feel very comfortable in your ear and assuming you use the correct sized eartip for your ear they don't fall out easily despite the painful looking studs on the silicone tips. these earbuds don't have the best bass when you use them like they come out of the box that being said the smallest bass boost will make them sound 10 times better. in terms of mids and highs the low mids sound good the middle mids sound ok but not the best and the high mids could use a boost again the smallest one makes the biggest difference, the highs aren't earpiercing but aren't recessed they sound good and won't hurt your ears. they aren't the loudest but they don't need to be even at the loudest volume I could only hear them when they were about a foot from my head. now onto battery life, it's good it's not amazing but it lasted me all day on a little over half a charge playing at almost full volume. all in all they are good out of the box only needing the smallest bass boost in my opinion just so you can almost feel the bass in your ear.now onto the second part of this review and the way I am forced to use these. this only really effects sound quality and comfort and require something that wasn't included in the box. ok so the reason I'm forced to do this is because I bought a used pair of these for 17 bucks and was pretty dissapointed at first. the package was destroyed when I got them I was missing the larger eartips and the smaller ones had a small tear in them making it so the drivers would move but the eartips wouldn't while I was running. this obviously was extremely annoying for me and I was about to return them when I found some eartips that I could replace the ones I had with. they came off of my old tzumi true wireless earbuds I got from Staples about a year ago for 35 bucks. (they still work just have bad battery life) I never really used them and they came with extra eartips witch I used to replace the out of the box ones from these headphones. they have ear hooks built into them and most importantly created a seal in your ear canal when inserted. this was crucial to why I think this deserves its own section in this review. ok so first of all I experienced some minor ear fatigue because the eartips I'm using are too big and are made even bigger because their not made for these headphones now for sound quality. as soon as I put these in with a seal I immediately noticed the bass was 20000 times better. it was better in a ok way but I noticed some high mid frequencies getting covered up this wasn't a huge problem at first then I played some not so bass heavy music. see these earbuds are strange once they seal in your ears it's like your listening to two subwoffers and two tweeters aka very recessed mids. this was easily fixed with an equalizer but but I found it interesting because it's similar to what I refer to as the "beats phenomenon" the bass is way over stated the highs are earpiercing and the mids are heavily recessed but with these it's more like the bass is way over stated the mids are way understated and the highs are almost perfect. because of this the bass heavy songs sound way better and the songs with little to no bass now have bass but it makes everything else sound covered up and muddy. it's kinda backwards but I'm not complaining I like bass heavy songs and trust me these headphones will shake your world when the bass kicks in. all in all these are good headphones especially for the price and if you get em used for about 30 bucks or less then they are one of the best bangs for your buck I've ever seen on Amazon the reviews on these are misleading and I'm here to say that and give a honest review from a future audio engineer and current musician and one that knows good headphones when he sees them. these headphones need more attention in my opinion they are some of the best under 100 dollar sport headphones I've ever seen and even tho they are comparable to beats in terms of sound quality and the overall balance it can easily be fixed with an equalizer like i said several times in the sound section of this review and the way I see it would you rather say "hey I paid 200 or more dollars for these sorta ok headphones" or would you rather say "hey I got these 60 dollar headphones witch are amazing" witch you actually only got for about 30 bucks idk about you but I'd rather say the second especially because I'm broke and could barely afford these that being said I definitely do not regret getting these and reccomend these for any runners or anyone who loves bass.

Nice earbuds but not my go-to pair
Pros:-Great sound quality-Wireless!! (for the most part). Great for when I'm doing art projects so wires don't get in my paint or chopped by my tools or for when I'm on the go or at the gym-Doesn't take long to charge + battery life is pretty decent. They got me through a whole 8 hour-bus ride!-Bluetooth connection/pairing is fast and easy. Just hold the power button down until the voice says "pairing mode activated" and they're ready. Then they connect to my iPhone X as soon as I turn them on.-They turn off by themselves if you don't use them after awhileCons:-I'm a smaller person and these look a bit large on my face and the shape/size can get uncomfortable and even start to hurt my ears after a little while. They work for taking on a walk/run or to the gym but I definitely can't sleep in them or wear them for an extended amount of time.-Bluetooth connection can get confused if you pair with 2 devices. I had these paired with my phone but needed them for my laptop so I paired them with my laptop but then I had to repair with my phone. Not a huge deal, but can seem sort of inconvenient if you have to keep repairing.-This is totally a con for only me but I like to use only one ear sometimes but with only a cord to connect the two earbuds, the earbud in my ear will start to fall out if I have the other side simply resting over my shoulder. Kind of an all or nothing deal. Once again, not a huge deal but kind of inconvenient at times.-Another con that is by no way a fault of the earbuds themselves but I'm just not a fan of earbuds I have to charge when my other earbuds are sitting right there. So I guess invest in these if you want a decent, cheaper pair of gym or active earbuds but I wouldn't use them as my go-to pair all of the time.
