I have owned 2 pairs pf Panoptx glasses (3 including these) currently and approx. 10 years ago. The quality of these glasses on a scale of 1 to 10 are about a 4 compared to a 10 of the original pairs I have owned and I still have one pair. I am shocked, to tell you the truth, as the originals were so well made I assumed that this pair would be also. Not so. Especially poor construction, is the material that the eye seal is made of beside the construction of it is much more flimsy and again, totally surprised at this. The fit is poor. On the other hand, the box it cam in is nice, the case is similar (but not as good quality) to my original that I still have - first pair I bought I lost in Australia in 2008- 12 years ago. Bought another pair right after I lost those and they were the same quality. Unlike this pair. The reason O purchase this pair was due to the fat that the seal on my 2nd pair was separating from the frame, which is fine after 10 years but, I had written to the company asking if I could purchase another foam piece to attach - THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME! that should have given me a clue that the company was not the same as in the past. So, I am not sure if there are other companies that make frames like these, but would be a good idea to check it out. I first got these to use on my motorcycle and after that - for my dry eyes. Original pair was/is good for both of these. I have had my husband reglue the foam and I am still wearing my old pair. much more comfortable. Also - on the plus side, they look nice!
