Q: Why are these so expensive? my local dollar store here in abington, pa sells these 16 oz. cans for 2.00 each!

These WERE in every drug and grocery store. This is one of the many cheap dollar products that shoppers buy up and sends in to sell on Amazon. They're like the yard salers of ebay; reselling at a higher price claiming all came from an antique estate sale. They create a higher market this way because some people don't realize this is a lower end cheap item. If I were the maker of these candies, I would up the price to the price on this site and sell them for said amount in the grocery stores, just to stop this practice.

yes, however, it is ok but not the same as when I was small, some 73 years ago.

Q: Is it filled with chocolate or fruit filling?

What I got was about 80/20 mix chocolate to fruit mix. Was great can't wait to buy more.Will that help?
