Buttons stick after 3 months
At first when I ordered this, I loved this remote. But after about 3 months the buttons started to stick. So f_ing annoying. You tap to go up and it sticks and it just keeps going. It starts slow and may jump twice but before this remote met it's death it would stick until you pressed it again. You can never land on what you want to land on in the menu. It either shoots way up or down. Finally got so fed up with it that I took my aggression out on the stupid thing and i introduced it to my the wall in the backyard. The thing is in pieces now but I feel better. Loved it...now I hate it.

NOT QUITE THERE
This could have been a top remote for android TV boxes although there are the usual drawbacks in one form or another. First and foremost, it's a rechargeable...big downfall...it goes dead quickly, less than two days if you don't switch it off. I want a remote I a pick up and rely on, not have to be fiddling with a switch or plugging in consistently, why not just use aaa's like all other remotes? There is a "learning" power button for your TV but it's cumbersome to program as you only have the option to point your existing TV remote at it to learn...no programming code option like most devices. This took many tries for it finely to take my Samsung remote and even then, I sometimes have to point directly at the TV inferred and push the button several times to power on/off the tube. The last complaint is there is no "TV source" button on it. A very important option IMO. Bottom line, probably not the right remote for you either.

Not good for the Nvidia Shield
The reason it's not as good as the Shield remote is simple. There is no back button and getting out of PLEX or other apps is completely different and annoying. It also lacks any voice commands like the Shields remote. The only good thing about it is the keyboard and it's rechargeable. If you are using a different Android device maybe it's really good but it's no where as easy to use as the stock Shield remote. I ended up just buying some Energizer batteries for it and going back in 3 days. The mouse feature is super annoying too.

Perfect Replacement For Nvidia Shield Remote
I tried the ACEMAX to replace the terrible remote that comes with the Nvidia Shield. Most of the problems with the Shield seems to be the fault of their poorly designed and manufactured remote. The ACEMAX fixes the slow response and frequent signal loss between the remote and the Shield. It also gives you a button for adjusting the volume which is so poorly implemented on the Shield remote. There is also an easier to use single-press pause button.Set up takes less than two minutes. Plug in the USB receiver, pair the unit with the Shield and you are ready to go. If you have your TV, Shield, and Receiver synced together the on/off button will turn on all the units, and turn them off, with one press. The battery is rechargeable and lasts about a month before needing a recharge with the included USB cable. In order to save battery life the unit will go to sleep, though you can also turn it off completely. Pressing any button will restore the unit to ready mode. The ACEMAX has a sturdy and solid feel. One side is a regular remote and the other is a full keyboard and mouse pad. I can't speak for the keyboard as I have never used it, and probably will never to.For $15.00 this is a perfect replacement for the Nvidia Shield remote. Now if Nvidia would replace the cheap wireless chip in the Shield the company would have an almost perfect media server.

Just works with Nvidia Shield
Temporarily lost my Shield remote so ordered this. I've fallen in love with it. Solid performance all around and the occasional flip to type something is very useful. The removable battery in this unit is what really gives it the extra edge. It uses a standard BL-5B battery. I bought a 1200Mah battery (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0796KDFMG) and haven't charged it in over a month. This unit could be 5+ stars if it had compatible voice function for Shield, but I wasn't expecting it.

Doesn't work for me
The remote looks attractive and feels good in my hand. However, it doesn't work for me on my Shield TV. Only the power button has the learning function, which failed to learn the power button from my Panasonic TV remote anyway. The navigation buttons sometimes just stopped working and I had to flip the on/off switch to make it work again. Not sure if I received a defective one but it is going back to Amazon. Looking for something else.

Keyboard works👍
Plugged it in and started using out of the box. Keyboard is pretty dang cool, and the air mouse is off little in the screen, but it works still anyways. You can't go wrong for the price.

If it works, it's okay
"If" is the operative word. This remote works properly maybe 30% of the time. Will I have to swap the batteries out on it to restart it? Will the buttons work properly? Will I wind up using the fire tv app on my phone instead? Yeah, that last one for sure.Do yourself a favor, I've had this remote for 2 months now, and hate it. Don't buy this one.

20-25$ value
You can fine 5 times cheaper remotes for the same specs as this one. It is too expensive and nothing special. I regret buying it and wasting money. It is worth around 20-25$

Ottimo telecomando
Funziona bene. Speriamo che le batterie durino un po’ di più rispetto al suo predecessore gemello
