Works great on my inexpensive carbon wheels!
Bought the $350 carbon road bike wheels on Amazon and they came with pads but I wanted to make sure I had good pads since it's my first pair of carbon wheels. I don't think big brand names are necessarily worth 2 or 3 times as much money, so I tried these.The wheels I have only have a carbon brake track, not basalt and braking is actually fairly quiet and powerful. I have no problems with these pads, didn't even require time to before they started working well, first ride was great.If my pads wear out, I will buy these pads again.

Thick pads
They are ok. They are alot thicker than Shimano pads and now i have to ride with my calipers open till they wear down.

Stopping power
After using these for a few months I've concluded the stopping power is not that of other carbon brake pads. I've had Mavic and they have been the best for me so far on a Mavic carbon rim

These pads have zero stopping power.
I ordered these pads for my Giant SLR carbon wheels. I have had them installed for over a month now and given them plenty of time to break in. They are absolutely terrible at stopping. I have to grab the brake levers with all I've got to slow down. I am taking these off immediately before I crash.

Carbon Brakes
These have some fair stopping power. They are the best (so far) with no fading. Actually, it seems that the more you hold your lever in the stop position, the better the brakes work. The wear is much quicker than pads for aluminum rims.
