I thought this remote was great, instantly worked. It stopped working yesterday, tried new batteries, tried everything would not work. ??? Don't understand why.I must say, my son checked it and the new battery was defective and the remote is working fine. I felt bad about the bad review, however, I put in new batteries twice, not really seeing the problem was the battery.

This remote is a must have for Sceptre TV's! I tried several other universal remotes and after pressing all the buttons and entering several codes, those remotes only powered tv off/on. This remote was much easier ...enter batteries and that's it!!! I'm able to use all functions of tv with remote. Very pleased with quality of this remote.

Just put 2 AAA batteries and it works no programming just works my tv is a Sceptre E 195BD get one this works!

The remote is great. I didn't have to set the remote or nothing like it said on the website. Love it and it is working great.

Product listing title is misleading and deceptive, whether intentional or not… This does not work for “all Sceptre TVs” as it does not work for Sceptre Android 4K Smart TVs with Google Assistant, so that is not “all”. I’ve gone a week without a remote because after ordering the first and it didn’t work, I ordered another thinking maybe the first was just defective when all along this one is not compatible with my tv. That’s a waste of time, energy, resources, shipping materials, gas, etc all because y’all want to put a generalized BS listing title to get people to buy. I don’t usually even take my time on reviews because I get paid well for my review time elsewhere so I never do them for free but I’m irritated af right now. Maybe I can save someone else the time and trouble. Whew. Thanks for coming to my TED talk
