PROS: I’m still relatively new to crocheting and this particular set was extremely easy to follow with easily manageable yarn whereas I had a difficult time following the instructions from other crochet kits previously purchased on Amazon. I was able to make both the baby chick and chicken mama within a few days while on vacation. The set includes extra yarn to which I was able to utilize to make personal tweaks, despite possibly using extra yarn in my projects, I was still left with a decent amount of yarn.CONS: Only thing I would say that needs improvement is the formatting of the instruction videos. They’re segmented clips divided into 10 or more videos, I would prefer for the instructions to be formatted into a single long format video with highlighted markings to indicate specific instructions on each sectioned row. Often times I had to refresh the webpage because I ran into playback issues with the videos the more I progressed along which was kind of cumbersome since I had limited access to wifi.Overall, I would give this kit 10/10 for its price point, quality of materials, quantity of materials and straightforward/easy to follow video instructions in english. This definitely beats other competitors currently on the market! Too bad they only have this one kit available, I will definitely be keeping an eye out in the future for more releases from this brand!! Would highly recommend this for beginners who are wanting to learn the basics of crocheting and need introductory lessons for starting out.EDIT: I ended up using the excess yarn to make an oversized egg coaster! Definitely enough yarn was provided to make another crochet project that fits the chicken and egg theme, super pleased with the outcome of these projects.

Great kit. Plenty of yarn. Easy to follow videos. My daughter was not able to do it. But she is just too young. Kids love playing with the finished product though. Seems like it will hold up well. The only downside is the instructions for the hen are wrong in one step. The stitch count is off by about 10 stitches. Really cute set finished it in about a day. New to crocheting.

This is such a fun kit! I used to crochet a lot, but it has been years since I’ve started a project. This was an excellent way to get back into it. The video and written instructions were very beginner friendly, and the videos walk you through row by row. I had just enough material to finish the kit and everything was great quality. Will definitely buy from this company again!

All in all, this was a solid kit. I've never crocheted before and wanted something easy but cute. It came with all the pieces needed and I was able to follow along for the most part. It lost a star due to some issues with the instructions:1. Video for chick for round 11 is incorrect - it repeated round 10. I had to use the written instructions for the instructions for 11.2. For egg top, it says "This is the bottom half of the egg." Small typo and not a huge deal.For the written instructions, I wish each round that repeated had its own line and checkmark. It was really handy using it to keep track of each round so when it put multiple rounds under one "checkmark," I had to keep track manually.If I had any experience, I believe I would have understood immediately but as a beginner, these small issues hindered me just a bit.Perhaps there are easier ways to do everything but I did my best as a beginner. :)Overall, this was a great beginner kit, and had easy instructions. I loved how this kit had 3 different projects and could dabble with the easiest and work my way up to the chicken.

I wanted to learn to crochet but being left handed is hard to find things that are geared towards left handers. Ok, so there is only one other company that is left hand friendly and I didn’t really want to pay 30 plus for some other kits. I found this and wanted to take a chance for left handers alike. The directions and videos are found using a QR code. Videos are helpful! I am new to crocheting and I am Left handed! While the videos to all you south paws like me are “backwards”. With some patience you too can do this. Once you figure the basic stitches, the pattern isn’t hard to follow. At some points I didn't have to watch the videos but was able to follow the pattern and if I got confused, then I watched the videos. The pattern is a pdf and you are able to print it if needed but I just followed on my phone. The yarn is easy to use and forgiving. It is almost like strips of T-shirt. So you mess up, just pull the stitch and start over. Decent kit for the price, extras that are needed such as stitch markers, needle, eyes, stuffing included. I had plenty of yarn with enough left over. I have a good understanding of stitches like increasing, decreasing, magic circle, single crochet. Overall I feel confident enough to try something new. While still I consider myself quite new, I think being able to complete a project and being left handed is a feat within itself. Would buy more of their products if they had any. Cheaper than the more expensive kits out there. If you got the willingness and patience. Think you could do this too.

The media could not be loaded. The kit was VERY complete with extra tools and parts, plenty of yarn for the project. Instructions were clear. High quality components, can reuse for other projects. Vivid colors. Will post a video when I am finished with the project! Seems like a great value.

Really enjoyed this kit. I was surprised at the quality of the yarn. Instructions were great for beginners, and the pattern was accessible for more experienced crafters. I love how the pieces make sense together but also give the feeling of accomplishment and let first timers build up to more complex and challenging pieces.Really excited to see more from this brand! Hope to get my hands on the next kit soon. I'm rooting for you guys!

Bad it did not come with the pattern so as far as I’m concerned it’s not good! I can’t make it with out the pattern this stinks! Not happy!
