Cost half of what the original did new, and it's every bit as flawless .. probably a lease re-spiff, battery has way less cycles than there are workdays since it was made, I'd wager it sat on the desk connected to a dock. Can run two 4k displays (not to game, but it's a mac so not to game anyhow, nerd work it's perfect). Will last 10 hours Normal stuff (unless you are a video editor) it'll last 10 hours. The Retina display beats anything else and always has,If you are ever able to make the call, IBM did a very large study and shows Macs have a much lower TCO for corporate use, hundreds of dollars less over 3 years. I concur, and it's true for Grandma also, they justt work, and when they don't they are easy to fix. Do not buy AppleCare just buy extras, 1 for every 10-20, faster and cheaper, comment based on thousands of them also HP/Gateway over 20 years in edu/gov. Purchased 6 months ago from Double Dex. It worked great at first and my daughter was excited to head to college with her new MacBook.At about 5 months, the AC adapter stopped working (the part that plugs into the wall broke. No one local sold just that part so she had to wait a few days for one ordered online to arrive).Now, at just under 6 months, the MacBook crashed and no longer turns on. We watched a bunch of YouTube videos with different ways to reset it or try to get it to power up but nothing works. The AC adapter shows power but the computer does nothing; no beep, no fan, nothing...

I’ve been looking for a Mac that had the old screens, the M1 and newer screens give me horrible Miriam’s and the older Mac’s don’t.This was honestly perfect!Lightweight, fast loading, and didn’t glitch!Customer service was super friendly and fast too.If I need another laptop I’ll definitely come back here, best seller experience for used Mac’s so far!

so the computer works great. I don’t have any complaints with that. What frustrates me though is I believe mine is like an end of 2015 so it’s not really that old but something is simple as iMovie I can’t get because the operating system will not update to anything newer that will allow me to use a simple product that comes normally standard as iMovie. For some reason it didn’t come loaded and I can’t get it so that’s very frustrating

I was really worried because there were SOME weary reviews, but so far so good, I was able to get it set up within 15 minutes, got logged into iCloud, and now I’m updating it! All the keys I’ve used so far all work, and I’ll update this review when I have an honest opinion about the battery life. Going for refurbished was a fantastic idea, I also only ordered this 2 days ago (6/01/2024 & today is the 3rd) and it wasn’t scheduled to get here until the 6th. Overall satisfied with my purchase and the company I bought it from. Thank you for helping me make my job easier 💚EDIT: 06/27/24-This is actually such a great value for the price. I use it every day and the battery lasts me all day, i've consistently had about 10-15 tabs or windows open; due to my job I have to, I'd say I get a full 10-12 hours of usage a day and when I don't have all those tabs open, id say maybe 15 hours of battery life a day. its really nice, none of the keys have had any issues so far, the microphone and speakers work, the camera works, I use zoom a lot for work, I also use it to occasionally watch Hulu and the battery will last about 7 hours doing just that. Overall, I'm beyond impressed by this Mac, and the company who is selling them.

I originally purchased this item, knowing it is renewed. I needed an affordable MacBook that had more internal memory, RAM and a faster processor than the current model I own. I recieved my MacBook within days of the order, but it had a battery service issue from the start. I contacted the seller and they responded back in a couple days but guarenteed a quick replacement as soon as I followed Amazon's return process and gave the seller the tracking info upon releasing is back to UPS to ship back. Within 3 (business) days, I had the replacement delivered. Same technical specs, in great condition and this replacement has shown no battery issues. I've been a MacBook user for years for video editing, so I may be biased but my rating is due to the customer service and quality of renewed product. Thus far, my experience is great.

So far it's going okay. The laptop came with some scratches and a dent by the USB port on the right side. No big deal. I'm not stressing that too much since this is a refurbished item. It seems to be functioning well and in good condition, not excellent condition, as described by the seller on Amazon. The bluetooth just can't pair up with my Alexa echo speaker. I works fine with other bluetooth device in the house. My main concern with the laptop is it gets hot very quickly. Usually that's the sign of a faulty battery or motherboard. I'm keeping it for now, but if this continues I will have to return it. This is a 2015 laptop. I can get a newer model for the same price or better.

I purchased this MacBook Pro fully aware that it’s refurbished. So I’m not expecting it to be brand new, even slightly used, but the screen was filthy right out of the box with dark marks clearly around the edges, and that’s the least of the issues.I tried to start it up regularly to set it up for my girlfriend and I can’t even start it up. The error code I was receiving was common but even after an Internet Recovery the internal drive of the laptop was nonexistent. I reached out to Apple to troubleshoot and the best they could do was set an appointment up at my nearest Apple Store for a technician.If you want a refurbished MacBook that needs to be fully fixed and recovered after refurbishing definitely check them out here. Terrible product refurbishing.
