Works great by itself or when needing extra heat. Does last for at least 7h on lowest setting which was all I needed most days.Truly made for athletes and for outdoors. Much better than ORORO or the fake Chinese copycat vests which feel cheap. This feels much warmer at a lower setting and feels like good quality gear.Cons: battery is fat and bulky. But so is all the other copycat brands.

I received a Gobi heated vest for Christmas last year and have really enjoyed it. I bought this one for my mom based on my experience and received another high quality product as expected. We thought we had an issue with the battery (turned out to be our mistake), so we reached out for customer service and had a great experience getting the help we needed. The customer service representative followed up with emails and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the product and service. This is a good company that stands behind the quality of their product.

This has made all the difference in my ability to winter ski in Montana. Keeping my core warm on the lifts is key. I can only keep the best on highest level outdoors in very cold weather (it was near 0 F) as it is so warm). It lasts over 5 hours on high. Super easy to use, charge. I wore under my XS ski coat, low bulk. Mine is size small and is too large all over (I am 110 lbs, 63 in) but it is no bother. I am using it now for walking dogs and will use under my sailing jacket under cool, breezy days on boat.

I bought this vest for my son. I purchased the EXACT same one I bought for myself. It’s barely over a year old and it flashes all three indicator lights. It’s not connecting to the fully charged battery.I proceeded to google this problem. To no avail, it’s not there. So I contacted Gobi customer service. WHAT A JOKE!!! They completely misunderstood my question, gave me an absurd answer. To then I had to reply and break down like a child needs spoken too. Then only offered 10% off my next purchase because and I quote “ We unfortunately do not offer any repairs team/parts at this time.”I’ve purchased several times from them before. NEVER AGAIN!!

The best part of the best is that it keeps your core warm without any mobility restrictions because it’s a vest. You can move easily with it on and stay warm. The vest fits snug so some people may want to size-up.

I ordered the size that Amazon suggested for my wife, and it was too small. Went to return it and found that the process is not easy. I am waiting for a label from Gobi so that I can return the vest. Very clunky process.

This vest arrived without a battery. I had to return and paid $12 return shipping as Gobi Heat would not replace the vest or send a battery separately. Label provided via Amazon is not pre-paid.

We will be returning it for a refund.
