Great torch
I have an older model Sondiko torch, and this one is much improved over the older model. I like the way this one starts up by just pulling the trigger. It's easy to fill, fire up, and use. I would recommend this torch for anyone that is in need of a reasonably priced torch that is easy to use, and works well.

Works great, but a bit messy to fill
This torch work well and puts out a nice flame to be able to light fires, grills, etc... Filling it is a bit messy, so best to use gloves to keep the butane off your skin. But besides that one issue, it's a solid device and I'll likely buy another one.

Watch out it can be dangerous!
The product looked great, performed well, and fit the hand like a glove - pardon the pun please!I have a couple of warnings: One, theSondiko is powerful, and trying to fill the tank threw butane all over!

Great Little Torch
This torch is great. Its simple to fill and even more simple to use. I use it in the kitchen to make crème brulees, toast the top of a french onion soup or make smores indoors when its too cold to go outside. I also use it to start my charcoal grill. This thing is versatile and awesome

What you need to know before you buy.
The media could not be loaded. Every so often I get a deal on Amazon that really amazes me where I have to stop and ponder did I really get so much for my money especially these days where everything just seems so overpriced. You could spend three times the amount and not get a torch this good. Right out of the box. It's durable. Feels of good quality and the starter mechanism and fuel flow are superb. Totally easily refillable. It even has a little window to know how you're doing on fuel. The flame strength is amazing and is fully adjustable. It is actually fun to use. You just flip the trigger and you have serious flame. I use mine a lot for outdoor soldering in the field when I can't use a regular plug-in soldering iron and so far I feel I have excellent control with this device. I'll also use it to start propane heaters and such and it's been great. I highly recommend this product and for the price you should grab it and go. Also, I almost forgot to mention if you have not read this, you may learn something. When you fill this with butane, you should not start it immediately. It's recommended that you wait up to 15 minutes before using it. This allows the butane to settle into its liquefied state so that it can better ignite and be utilized properly. So once you fill it or top it off just put it down and leave it sit for at least 5, 10 or 15 minutes before usage and everything will be fine. MarkMannM2

Super easy to use
It is much larger than I expected. It pretty heavy duty. No having to light it like some pencil torches do. This you just pull the trigger back and it goes off when you release the trigger. There’s a safety piece of plastic you can put on the trigger to prevent it from going off but it’s not child proof by any means. Weight is just right. Speed is great, utility is great. Super easy to use! Very good quality feeling. I wish it came with butane, but I bet you can’t mail it with it? Idk why I expected it to be full.

It works well enough for my purposes
My only complaint with this butane torch is the fuel flow control is finicky. I can put it on low and it will either ignite with a long (sometimes short) torch flame or not at all. It is just very inconsistent igniting the torch from either (+/-) extreme setting on the flow control. If you ignite the torch with the flow setting in the middle it will reliably ignite most of the time, then you can adjust the flame more or less after it ignites.I use this torch for installing heat shrink tubing in mostly automotive wiring and other DIY electronic projects. I keep it with my portable soldering setup in a DeWalt 10 bin stackable storage case to keep everything organized.I love that the torch has a fluid-level sight gauge and a removable safety lock that works well when I store it away, but can be removed when I use it throughout the day to keep my sanity while working. I only use high quality 99% pure or 14x refined/filtered butane fuel from either Vector or Colibri brands (available at your local vape shops or here on Amazon) to make sure that my torch will last a long time. If you use cheaper run of the mill butane from your local big box store or gas station, then you will be lucky to get x3 filtered butane. Eventually, your torch will get clogged/gummed up and you will likely have to buy a new one. Do your research, using high quality butane will eliminate most of your struggles (plus most of the good butane includes those plastic refill adapters that this torch included). I did not need to use any plastic refill adapters with this torch, so I suspect those are only necessary if you are using poor quality butane that doesnt have the longer refill nozzle.I also use butane soldering irons which are basically a butane torch with a catalyst and soldering tips w/adapters... this experience is why I know how important it is to use high quality butane. Just because a butane says its high quality, doesn't mean anything... make sure it is either 99% pure refined/filtered butane or that it is refined/filtered more than x3. If the butane doesn't state these details, then stay away from it.The torch flame at its smallest is about 1 inch in length and maybe 2.5-3 inches at max flow. I mostly use it at the lower flow settings for my work, but it's nice to see that the flame has more than enough upper range for other potential purposes. The torch is very light weight, and is made mostly of plastic with an aluminum cylinder grip that protects the clear plastic butane tank. I don't know how durable it would be if it was dropped on a concrete floor, but I would avoid doing that if you want it to be reliable.I have another butane soldering iron/torch from Lexivon that has a butane tank made from aluminum with a rubber overgrip that feels a bit more durable in my hand and has a more consistent ignition & butane flow control, but has a frustrating safety lock that gets annoying real quick on a long soldering/heatshrink job. So prefer to use this Sondiko torch exclusively for heatshrink work and a battery operated pine64 pinecil soldering iron for soldering work. My Lexivon butane soldering iron is strickly reserved as a backup soldering/heatshrink solution.

Works well, great price
I bought this on sale. It's well worth the cost and feels like a good quality torch. Weight is medium as the handle is metal. Flame strength is normal (maybe even on the light side for a torch) but it gets hot enough to kick out a blue flame. It's easy to use too.

Works well, easy to use and fill...
We only needed it to help light a natural gas appliance, but it did the job much better than the lighters we had been using. It may be a good tool in the kitchen, too, for making crème brulée!

Unsafe. Cheaply made.
Not for professionals, or someone who excepts to leave the torch on for more than what a lighter could do. Upon using it we discovered that the plastic around the flame end had smoldered from extended use. Which could be a safety hazard. For light duty use. Maybe ideal for you.

Excelente potencia!
