My Cat's Toy!!
I brought this item to use as a toy for my cat. I know it sounds crazy. But he loves these sort of items. In just the 2 days that I have had this item, he has already caught on to pushing the ball to make the others move. This product is well made, and is a nice size.

Newton's Garbage
I *really* wanted to like this, but MAN, there are just too many problems. First, it's too light. Not just the entire unit, but the balls themselves.Which brings me to the second point. They used basically fishing line for this, and a high-tensile one too so it's way too thick for the balls. So much so that even the (lack of) weight of the balls isn't enough to straighten them out completely. I even tried taking a hair dryer to them to 'warm' them to relax, but no dice. But even if I had, for some (stupid) reason they decided to actually glue the balls to the strings instead of letting the string hang loose through the guide/channel on the top of the ball. Why is that important? Because they didn't bother to perfectly mount the strings so the balls don't even line up in a row. They're all... what's the word... cattywompus! So even if you *did* manage to get the strings to straighten out, the balls still won't align. That's why they are supposed to hang free. They naturally self-center.All around a cheap product that feels cheap the moment you open the package where you realize even how they packed it with the strings... let's just say I hope you get a warm and fuzzy feeling when you take knots out of sneaker laces because that's what you're going to spend the first 40 minutes doing... the entire time noticing just how cheap this thing feels. I've never seen more of a 'cash grab' product on here.I mean it's Newton's freaking cradle! It's the world's easiest toy to make, yet they found a way to ruin it on *several* fronts. Do not buy!!

Cheaply made, barely works
I bought this for my son who loves science and always wanting things like this. He liked it ok, but it is very cheaply made and I was quite disappointed. The string is on par with old cheap fishing line. It came out of the packaging curved making the balls not hit exactly right. The balls are also rather lightweight for the string. As others have stated, do not expect more than 4 or 5 movements before it stops. It didn't take long for one of the strings to break either. It actually seems to work better now that one is missing.I would not buy again, and would not recommend buying, unless you want it on a shelf as a cheap decoration.

We need to read the reviews VERY CAREFULLY and heed other peoples warnings!!
I like the looks of it HOWEVER it is a BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT to me because these things are supposed to go on and on seemingly forever, But just like other disappointed buyers said, pull one of the end balls and it will only go for 5 or 6 times and then stops!! Also, at times when you pull one and release it, the center balls move back and forth, and they are not supposed to do that!! Overall, this is a cheap poorly made product and I wish I had never bought it!! Unlike me, you need to be smart and NOT buy this JUNK!!

A great gift
This is a great gift for someone that likes clacking balls. Works for about 30-40 seconds at a time.

Does Not Work
This item is beyond cheap. It flat out does not work. Pull one ball back, let it swing and hit the others... the momentum dies within a second. This is obviously made only for show, and is not made of the correct materials.

Does the basic job
It's okay but could use a bit more weight to keep it steady. Also the alignment was okay but not 100%. It does what I wanted it for ... to demonstrate Newton's laws. But if for a display piece then you may want to spend a bit more.

Piece of rubbish
Flimsy cheap plastic. Worth about $2 not $35. Very disappointing
