I have a very well behaved, studious kid who likes fidgets and really deserved something more intricate and unusual. They absolutely loved this and still play with it two months after getting it. The magnets are strong but they can pull them apart and put them in a wide range of patterns. Their favorite is a long nosed puppy. They also have come up with several tricks involving making the magnets swing around almost like magic. The pen shape is functional despite not really being the point and comes with spare ink pods. This was well worth the price, though I am happy have gotten it on a Black Friday deal.
