This classic boat shoe is perfect for a summer outing by land or by sea. The round, hand-stitched moc toe and two-eye laces are decidedly nautical, while the heel cup provides heel support wherever you go. The rubber outsole yields a strong grip-perfect for a day on the docks.

Good looking and comfortable
Great quality, nice materials. My wife afraid it will be ugly, but it looks really great! Glad with purchase. Thank you.

Great shoe but unfortunately shade model is not for me!
Nice looking comfortable boat shoe. The suede leather is nice and will be appreciated by most customers. However, I had to return the shoe because the soft tongue would fold down on me when putting on the shoe. I’m handicapped and use a long Amazon shoe horn but can’t bend over far enough to reach and pull or hold the tongue. The Rockport Beeswax leather model is a heavy leather and poses no problems for me. It is about $35 more but so much more durable. I’ve worn mine hard over one year and they still look great. Love the fact that they have the narrow widths. The size is 12N and works for me. I’ve ordered a second pair of the heavier bees wax model. So, yes I do like that particular shoe.

Rockport Men's Ports of Call Perth Slip-On
These are wonderful shoes. Someone talked about how the sole pulled away. I had the same thing happen with mine...in 2003. They've changed the way the sole is connected to the shoe, and is no longer a problem. There's cushioning within the shoe that makes them very comfortable. I walk all day long, and definitely can tell the difference with these, compared other deck shoes I've had. I might mention that I do wear an A-width shoe. I purchased the B-width. I can wear them with comfort, but can slip them off without having to untie them. I can say they're true to size because I can take them off without untying them. If they were A-width, I'd have to untie them. That's not what I wanted. Really though, they absorb impact extremely well, and are comfortable all day long. I normally polish my shoes the day I receive them, to insure a barrier to water. I didn't with these, and they're doing great so far. I've literally worn them every working day since they've arrived and still love them. These are now my spring and summer shoes. My fall and winter shoes, just so you don't think I'm someone trying to sell for the company, is Russell Moccasin. I have them custom made, but they cost a crap load, and takes about nine months to receive your order. These, I received within a week. Great shoes, and well worth the less than one hundred dollars!

Excessive soul for narrow width buyers.
I was replacing a old pair of Sebago and since they are no longer available in narrow, I bought these. They have a lot stiffer soul than the Sebago, much stiffer than I prefer, but seem well built and should last along time. My biggest complaint is that the soul is much wider than the upper itself. I think that when they make them they use the same soul for what ever size they’re making whether making a narrow, medium or wide width. The edge of the soul sticks out as much as a half inch around the ball and toe area and I’m afraid I’m going to catch it on something and trip. To break it in I used some Fiebing’s neatsfoot oil and also some Kiwi mink oil, rubbing in generously to soften . I will be using them for casual outings without a lot of walking. Although the upper is breaking in, the soul is still to stiff to do a lot of walking. I’ve got dress shoes that are more comfortable than these. They’re like strapping boards to the bottom of your feet. UPDATE: I bought some Dr. Scholl’s Tri-Comfort insoles. They help the comfort a lot. They’re 3/4 length, but I trimmed some off too.

This is a Quality Made Shoe
As other reviewers have mention, these are very comfortable and stylish - "Made in Indonesia"First, I would like to say: No shoe is perfect for everyone and every manufacturer has a variation in size, one brand a size 12 might fit perfectly and another a size 13 - just be flexible. The second I saw the shoes, I knew they were of good quality and much better than my Sperry's. The Toe Box of the shoe is fairly wide which should allow for more comfort on hot days. The color is solid navy blue with hints of khaki through the stitching, shoe laces and foam padding between the sole and the shoe. There is arch support and the insole rides curved up the shoe at the heel in order to keep your heel in place and the design is the same at the arch. I suppose the insole could be replaced when worn-out, but they seem to be glued into place.Hope you enjoy the shoe as much as I have been the past few hours.

Great shoe with one big flaw
Its a fantastic looking shoe that can be worn for many occasions. I can wear it with dress pants or just jeans. The only issue is that the sole doesn't cover the entire base of the the show, only half of the shoe is covered by the sole. As someone who sweats a lot, this is a huge issue because moisture on the inside of the show makes it very uncomfortable and the color from the leather of the shoe will start to rub onto my feet, making them look like they've been through the mud. Despite this huge flaw, its a great shoe that I wear nearly everyday.

I can honestly say this is my new all-time favorite pair. I was looking for a pair of ...
Having worn a number of Sperry and LL Bean boat shoes in the past, I can honestly say this is my new all-time favorite pair. I was looking for a pair of boat shoes with that classic look (not the modern, overdone ones like the Sperry Billfish), but with a comfortable sole that I can stand/walk all day in. To top it off, I have rather wide feet, so finding a perfect fit is never easy. These Perths have an incredibly comfortable sole with decent arch support. I can wear them at my standing desk all day and not feel flat-footed or sore in the heels after work, and can walk around town without feeling like I'm barefoot. The leather is of very good quality, and it took very little time to break them in, even going sockless my first time wearing them. I'm a true fan now, and will absolutely buy another pair once I wear these out -- which may be a long while, as they seem very sturdy and well constructed.
