My family has been obsessed with Grandpa Beck's "Cover Your Assets" game for months, playing it almost daily so we decided to try another of his highly reviewed games. Golf doesn't disappoint. The instructions were easy to understand and the game was easy to catch on to. This is not one of those games that's fun to play once you can get past the complex instructions, nor do you need to refer back to anything to understand card values / meanings. One quick read-through and we were ready to tee off:) This is a fun game because there is some luck involved, but the players make strategic choices that will determine their outcome and my kids love having the power to be the one to end the game. But watch out - end it too soon and you could get some penalty points added to your score. What else can I say, it's a very fun game, quick to learn, and provided hours of entertainment to both adults and kids alike!

I used to play this game with students using standard playing cards. Grandpa Beck's Golf cards are a noticeable improvement. The card quality is high, the cards are sturdy, and for extra protection the cards fit in standard card sleeves. Additionally, this version of golf adds much more strategic variety than I had been used to with standard playing cards. That being said, the rules are very easy to learn (for elementary students to adults), and it's a fresh and exciting game every time!

We must have gotten a newer game with updated rules. It took us a little bit to understand the rules but the game itself is fun. We play with young children ages 9 and 11 and it is best to play with each round being its own seperate game. This is nice to play and calm, which is nice at times. Cover Your Assets is a more lively game with more emotions involved especially with the younger players.

We fell in love with cover your assets another game by same company, thought we’d give another product a try it’s actually fun and has both luck and strategy but fun for all level of players.

Grandpa Becks games never disappoint. They are go to gifts for holidays. My family loves playing all Grandpa Becks games! Easy to learn for our 8,9,11 and 12 year olds!

Great game to play with my 7,10, 13 year olds. A little bit of strategy required but also a fair amount of luck. Either way lots of fun and good basic math skills practice for 1st-3rd graders.

I liked the game before. Easy to learn, quick and fun to play. The new rules make it more exciting. Looks like they replaced the 9 and 11 cards all with 10, so I think you could use these "revised" rules with your old desk as well.

Fun card game for the family. I know there are people who play golf with face cards, but this game is perfect for families. I like that it encourages planning and strategy. Great game!

we played this with our friends and they play their own version of Golf and they did not like this version as the rules say you cannot turn the cards over until you play them....lots of fun and a nice easy group game

We've played this game with regular decks, however the different variation this version has is much better to play. Very quick to learn, just a few minutes and We've played many hours and enjoy it a lot

You can’t even see your own cards. But you have to make decisions based on them. Very strange game. Did not enjoy playing.

This version of golf is so much fun, and easy to learn.
