these are durable and seal very well. i use them for my meal prep for overnight oats and have never had a leak even when being tossed around in my lunch box.

Item was exactly as pictured, a tried and true kitchen staple. One thing I would note is they did have a pretty strong chemical smell when they first arrived so definitely wash before using!Perfect size for coffee to-go (they fit in a drink cup holder) and for single serve overnight oats!

Really wanted glass jars for leftovers or to make jam. They seal tightly & are just what I needed.

I used these Ball jars to freeze pasta sauces, and they work perfectly. Just remember to leave an inch at the top for expansion on the freezer. The Ball jars all have the lids with the indentation that pops when it is sealed, giving you a bit of extra piece of mind that all of the air is out of the jar before you screw the lid on over the seal. Highly recommended

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered 4 Ball regular mouth 8-oz mason jars. The lids are all marked Ball. Three of the four jars are marked Ball and made in the USA. The fourth jar is a cute jelly jar, but it is not marked Ball or made in the USA, so I assume it is neither. I spent a lot of time looking into which jars to buy: where they are made, suggested care and uses, food safety, etc. I know nothing about this fourth jar, so I probably won't use it for food. I will continue to buy Ball jars in the future, but I won’t buy from this particular seller again.

These rusted after first use! I hand washed these the day I received them. I laid them out to dry and the next day discovered the lids were rusty.
