Very nice to look at
For the price you pay, (I paid the promotional price of 129) this device is well deserving of 5 stars. Let me explain why:First off, let me just say to many people review a phone for what's its not, rather than review the device for what it is in relation to the price point. Basically what I'm saying is, I disagree with the negative reviews on this device thus far. Let me explain why:BUILD/DESIGN: It's one of the most appealing Blu devices if not the MOST appealing Blu device to date. The phone does not look nor feel cheap in hand. The back is not glass, bit is a shiny plastic material similar to that if the vivo xl3. Very nice to look at, but does attract a lot of fp smudges. Easily fixed though by keeping a microfiber cleaning cloth handy.Next is the performance. The mediatek processor with 3gb of ram is efficient and does OK. There is occasional lag when scrolling through fb or Spotify or CPU intensive apps. The performance will not wow you, but does get the job done. It just WORKS.CAMERAS: the camera on this device does fairly well. The quality of the pictures the back 13mp takes is about what you'd expect from a 130 dollar smartphone. Again, not gonna wow you, but it is efficient and JUST WORKS. The front camera is where the most fun is with picture taking. It has 2 8mp sensors with one being a wide angle lens that is fun to use to fit in more with selfies. It has a variety of modes including night mode, and beauty mode. The quality of the pics on the front cameras are efficient enough to get the job done. IT JUST WORKS.BATTERY: this is one area I feel the phone underperforms in. Heavy usage does make the battery life suffer quite a bit, but it's expected with heavy usage as with any phone with heavy usage. Starting at 100%, the battery was down to about 80% after approximately 30 minutes of screen on time. The battery also gets significantly hot with heavy usage which happens to be my biggest gripe about this device, but that's easily fixed by putting on the included zebra patterned silicone case it comes with so you don't have to feel it as much. Again, IT JUST WORKS.DISPLAY: this is (in my opinion) the strongest area of this phone internally. The HD+ 720x1440 display on this device surpassed my expectations. For a 720p display, this thing is very pleasing to look at. You would never know it was only a 720p display if it didn't specify on the box. Colors pop really nice looking almost as good as a Samsung AMOLED display. You also have the option to tweak the display via miravision in display settings. I will add that this display is much nicer to look at in comparison to my iPhone 8, a phone costing 6 times the price of this device. The display also gets very bright in max brightness. Way to bright for my liking. Mine stays at about 50% brightness.FINGERPRINT SENSOR: works about 80% of attempts. It's right beneath the camera lens so sometimes I find myself touching the camera lens first before finding the fp sensor. Kinda annoying because the camera lens get fp smudges when this happens. Be sure to keep a microfiber cleaning cloth handy. But it's efficient enough and JUST WORKS.OVERALL: this device performs about like you'd expect from a 130 dollar smartphone. Your getting a lot of phone for a low price. For what it does for such a low price, you can't complain but so much. I would say overall, it met my expectations, but did not surpass my expectations. This review is based on what this phone IS, not for what its NOT which is why it gets 5 stars.

Good Value
So far this phone is working great. In one of the previous reviews it was mentioned how the fingerprint security login was completely useless but that is so far from the truth that it's a ridiculous thing to say. Actually the fingerprint security works great as long as you know how to set it up properly by following the instructions correctly. The phone does not behave slow as someone else mentioned. So far it behaves and functions almost as well as the more expensive brands. So far I have not tested many other functions on this phone but generally it works well and goes quickly but it does get a bit warm so that part is true. If there is something I'm not pleased about it's the battery being only a 300mah and I previously had a Blu Studio energy which had a 5000mah battery and I wonder why they couldn't have put that battery into this phone. Especially since they're claiming it's supposed to be a super long lasting battery but I think it's quite regular for a quality phone these days. Also I must add that the speech to text function tends to lag at rare times and needs to be improved on these BLU phones. Anyway I would highly recommend this phone especially at the price of $129 on Amazon. It's more than worth the price. Later when I have had an opportunity to test a lot of the other functions like the Camera and so on I will comment on those and give my opinion on the quality of those functions. In the meantime I highly recommend this phone.

Decent phone at a great price
After extensive research I was looking for a relatively powerful phone that wasn't the size of TV and didn't require a 2nd mortgage to purchase. Stumbled upon this one and it came close to what I was looking for so I figured Id give it a shot.PROS:1. Price - At $130 this is not a bank breaker and alleviates the concern of accidental damage. Id probably just purchase another in a worse case scenario2. Specs - 3gb ram, fast processor, acceptable internal memory with sd expandability, large screen, 18:9 ratio so it feels good in the hand3. Extras - Phone includes a case and screen protectors in the box, not many manufacturers do this, especially the high dollar ripoffs (samsung, apple, etc)4. Use - No issues with stability after over 3 weeks of use, rock solid with no app errors, shutdowns, or freezeupsNEUTRAL:1. Still on the micro usb interface - This standard is quickly becoming outdated, that being said we all probably have drawers full of extras that are compatible from past phones2. Mediatek - though this isnt one of the more popular chip variants it ran well for me, on rare occasions you may experience a minute task switch or loadup delay, but it was the exception rather than the rule3. Resolution - lower resolution display. Having used very high resolution displays on phones, I found it actually harder to see because items were so small. Yes you can adjust settings to combat this but it seemed to effect overall presentation. With a lower resolution items are generally already bigger. This is one issue that some people will hate, and some people wont care, I personally dont care and did not have any issues with it.4. Size - large screen in newer 18:9 ratio. Makes it easier to hold. As I guy I could still one hand use this phone with minor adjustments. Someone with a smaller hand may have issues.CONS:1. Heat - Top of phone does tend to heat up with extended use. With a case on its not nearly as noticeable, and this isnt something exclusive to this model. "High end" phones Ive used in the past did the same thing. As they keep making these mini computers faster and faster, heat is just a natural result.2. Battery - I consider myself a casual user, and could easily go 24hrs without a charge up, but power users or media centric users are likely going to need a backup battery onhand or the ability to charge at some point during the day3. Water resistence - phone has no known built in protection against water ingress. In todays age thats almost a standard feature, but for the price im not complaining....too much4. Accessories - very little available for this model, which isnt unusual, as most people tend to focus on the name brands in todays age. Search hard and youll find some, but there just isnt much out there. Over time more may pop up but dont expect there to ever be a diverse selection.Overall:Good phone, good price, relieable. I am using this as my primary phone. Give it a shot if u want a good phone at a decent price.*Heads up on this too. I believe this is an Android specific issue and not this phone. But if you setup the PIN before startup, it may prevent you from doing file transfers via usb. I reset my phone and didnt turn it on and then I could do file transfers.
