This is amazing. Very little prep needed and only takes about half an hour but lasts about 10 days and my hands are always working. I would buy this again.

Doesn't dry nails!!! Bought it. Worked to dry the nail polish it comes with. Bought two major gel brands - IDB and Shellac... Doesn't work on either!!!!Don't understand this at all!Once you have a lamp it's meant to work on all brands.Utter waste of money.And utterly confusing science.Why does it work on Homedics gel polish and not on any other brand?!It's not an analogy either. My sister bought this set too. Same result for her... Worked to dry the polish it comes with but no other brand gel.Don't get it?!

This product claims to give salon quality results. It contains 2 gel nail polishes, 1 mains-powered LED UV light (with timer for 1 or 2 minutes), nail cleaner & filing stick & nail file plus swabs for cleaning the nails.I first used this with 1 coat only & it gave a very strong & solid looking finish which in my view is as good as salon quality depending on shape of your nails & how well they have been prepared. & even though I only applied one cost, it didn't chip for 3 days & stayed put. It's extremely tough...So basically, if your nails are in good shape & you regularly go to salon just for nail polish; then perhaps this is a god investment. But in my view, it wasn't anything worth the amount they're asking for this.Plus it's extremely difficult to remove, & they should have at least added the gel nail polish remover in this kit for this price. I soaked my nails as per instructions for 5 minutes with nail polish remover & not much came off. I had to scrape it off at the end which might have damaged my nails.All in all, a high quality gel nail polish kit which gives as good as salon results but in my view very overpriced. If you buy the gel nail polish yourself, & a separate gel nail polish LED lamp (you can buy a decent one staryng from £15), I'm sure you will get just as good results.

Very pleased with product .easy to use ,gel polish thick but easy to apply and gives a lovely high shine ,curing lamp took about a minute longer than expected (but no problem) I have got a bad chip on one nail after only 4 days ,so have rectified it (not life threatening ) .All in all I am enjoying using it and have already ordered another colour .The red gel that came with the set is gorgeous .

Lovely. It's easy to use and once done comes out gorgeous. On the box it says it will last 14 days I've only had it on for 12 but so far so good. I would definitely recommend if you don't want to pay loads of money for somethings you can do just as good for free after buying this product

From the other half: amazing nails in the house. The kit is easy to use with clear instructions. You prepare the nails using the included two sided nail file/ buffer, cuticle stick and some cleaning pads. The preparation is critical as it will influence the results. It's a 6 step process and they are well explained in the 2-paged User Guide. The results are as as good as from my Saloon except theirs slightly longer. Very convenient as it cuts the saloon visits which are an inconvenience due to limited time.Additional gel polish is available from same manufacturer so it is extendable.

This is a nice bit of kit. It is easy to use and allows me to have nice looking nails, as nice as when I have them done in a salon. What I really like is that there is no need to apply a primer or a top coat. I love the colours of the nail polish included.
