The media could not be loaded. I'm very happy with my laser and I'm learning more with each project on what is needed. I have photoshopt and use that for editing before sending to laser. You can change the speed and intensity how many passes. It was a little of a learning curve but once I got it and read all instructions it was easy to do. I made lots of things now with it. I've mainly done words and a few racoons. I have the lower watt one so I haven't been able to cut with it. But it's working great for engraving! It is very accurate to the picture I've put on. The red part magnets on and it stays in place. I'm new to this so this was good for me to get a hold on things and figure it out. Very nice for my projects so far.

Great item! Really useful and works very well. I highly recommend this! Very special for teachers in the classroom trying to do something special for their students on engraving wood! Very great and useful item.

I haaattteeeeee this laser! Its spotty, incompatible with a rotary, has a small work area, hard to center, and burns more than it cuts! Its too late to return. I really want to sling it up in the air and watch it shatter to bits. I was persuaded by the positive reviews and wish I hadn't. This pile of metal is worthless unless you want to pay for a partly functional headache!

This mini laser engraver is awesome i like craving stuff . And this is the one i needed the designs are beautiful i can even carve curved object which is wonderful. The laser performance is much better unimaginable performance. Very easy to use and lots of patterns to choose. Also most product can be crave like papers wood or even acrylic just choose your own . This product is fun to use and very affordable so you are welcome.

The media could not be loaded. I didn't anticipate how much smoke this laser engraver produces. Next time I will operate it using my laptop outdoors.The app that runs the engraver is laserGRBL, which is a free program you can download from the Internet. It installed flawlessly on all of my computers that are running Windows.The laser engraver is supposed to work with outdated operating systems like Windows 7, but I couldn't get the laser engraver to find a COM Port on my PC that's running Win 7. Fortunately, I run Win 11 too. LaserGRBL connected to COM Port 7 automatically, and controlled the engraving without any difficulty.FYI, the laser-engraved block letter 'R' shown in the video was produced with the laser set (via laserGRBL) to 30% power-level. Lacking any prior experience, I had to guess at what power-level would yield a good result on the little wood panel that came with the engraver as a test piece.The instructions advise the user to lay down the sheet of metal that comes with the kit to protect your table top from getting scorched by the laser. My kit didn't come with this protective sheet of metal, but I just so happened to have my own flat piece of sheet metal.The printed laser instructions leave much to be desired, but in all fairness, they are sufficient. Mainly because it's not the laser engraver that you need to learn how to operate, as much as it's the free app, laserGRBL, that you have to learn in order to operate this engraver.I made it a point to block entry into my office while the laser engraver was plugged-in, meaning it has the potential to laser other family members, such as my dog. I might be overstating this risk, but I treat the laser like it's a loaded gun - with RESPECT. After all, the kit comes with only one pair of laser-safety glasses, so not enough for my dog and others.I think it will be a long time before I become truly proficient using laserGRBL which means, it will take a long time before I can use this laser engraver like a pro.

Overall built well as well, have been impressed with what I've been able to do with it so far! Works well with their recommended software as well. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

The ACMER S1 Laser Engraver is great for beginners engraver. It was easy to put to together.The build quality is very sturdy. I needed something small for my work and I it was perfect size for it. The price is good didn’t hurt my pocket.I am having fun with the engraver.
