These are amazing for several reasons. The length and density of the lights make it a one strand solution for an average tree. I really appreciate the fact the lights are closely woven into the wire as this make it a lot easier to deal with on a tree and without lights sticking way out, it does not get caught on branches hardly at all. As with most all Govee lights, the app is great and the options are many. The pattern options for the tree are really useful and present a lot of creative displays that really leverage the strength of the individually addressable pixels in the string. Overall great upgrade and I can't see using anything else going forward.

I've had bad luck with cheaper versions of app controlled string lights, so I decided to go with a higher quality, very expensive option. Unfortunately, the quality seems to be very poor despite the high price. After 1 week of outdoor use 1/3 of the lights stopped working. I took the lights down and inspected them. There was no signs of any physical damage or loose wires. In addition, I wasted about 1 hour putting them up and 1/2 hour taking them down. I just want something that works. Very frustrating!

These are the first tree lights I have bought myself (thanks for all the hand-me-downs, mom and dad), and man, lights have gotten very cool! I got these on a good sale, but now that I have them I probably would have been willing to pay full price. There are so many settings, I'm sure I haven't played with all of them yet. I especially love that the brightness is adjustable, so I can keep the vibes in my living room without too much glare on the TV. I got the 99 ft option, and it works perfectly on our 7ft tree.

I got these to attach to the railing of my front porch. They're better than I expected.PROS: Connect easily. Look great. So many different effects. The actual LED lights are no bigger than the twisted wire 'rope', making mounting very easy.CONS: Was gonna say price, but as nice as these are...can't even complain about that.

We have these lights outside on the gutters. It says they water proof and can handle cold temps. They're built by sections. One of the last sections next to the connecter has started to not work right. For the amount of money I spent, not exactly worth it. I will be contacting to see if I can get a replacement. They are very bright, colorful, and fun to mess with.

This year I gifted myself these Christmas tree lights and I am so stoked about them!They came in a beautiful box, neatly rolled up. I have a 6' tree and ordered the 99ft version because I love when there are plenty of lights. As usual, connecting them with my Govee app was a matter of 5 minutes. The Govee app is awesome, by the way, there so many presets for every taste, every colour palette, every rythm, every mood! The lights can dance in the rythm of the music in the room, they can be controlled by your voice assistant or automated with timers etc. So much customization, so many options! If you wanted to, you coul even literally draw on your light string in the app with your finger to choose which lamps will light up in which colour! I'm plenty happy with the presets though, but there are lots of DIY features where you can create whatever you want.As I said, I have 10+ Govee products, starting from LED light strips to ceiling lamps to smart bulbs and now Christmas tree lights and their products have never let me down. The oldest product I have is 6 years old now and still working great.If you're looking for smart programmable Christmas tree lights, it won't get better than this :)
