I bought Essie 'Bordeaux' as a special color for my upcoming 10th wedding anniversary. My husband's favorite color on my nails is a nice deep red, something like the wines we used to enjoy in Europe. I love the dark reds too.I haven't put it on yet, I'll take it with me to the salon and they can do that. But the color is exactly what I was looking for!! Much of the time "wine" named colors have too much berry tones. I wanted a rich, deep red, and this color delivers. As for the quality, we shall see, but I've used Essie before and it seems to be fine and last. And if there's a good top coat I don't forsee any issues.I look forward to using it soon!! 10/10 would recommend on the color alone!

Sometimes you never know what you're going to get online because the screen might not show the exact tint of makeup or nail polish. I wanted deep burgundy dark red and got it. The brush fan is extra wide which I've never seen before and I love it; it's a definite upgrade. Love this product line and will be trying more. The quality of the nail polish wears well and does not come off easily.
