I had to relocate my generator to the side of my garage. In order to run my generator, I have to plug it to the outlet at the side of my house all the way to the generator at its new location. I had to get a second extension cord to reach the extra distance. I needed a waterproof box to house the 30amp extension plugs between the two cables and this box is it. The 10.4” length and the 5.3” width fit my extension cords perfectly. The rubber grummets on each end of the box made it waterproof after latching the top down. There are four latches that snap tight and keep the box watertight. There are 6 rubber grummets around the box if you need to use it for multiple connections. The brightly colored tag on the top of the box stating “Danger electrical hazard” is a good warning sign that may keep someone from tampering with the box. With this box, I do not need to worry that when a storm comes through and it rains for days my generator will not short out.

I finally finished putting up all my Halloween light today and this box is perfect for protecting one of the junctions. There was even just enough room to curl up the slack of the supply line at the bottom of the box. Solid construction, and well sealed. Should keep out the bugs. Not to be used in a submersed application. My only warning with this is the picture you see. Yes you can fin something like that, but it will be tight. The cords I've been typically using are difficult and fiddly to get all bunched into the box and closed around the seals. It can be done, but you will find it annoying. Where I need to run a lot of cords, I have another box that's literally twice the size, but so much easier to work with. I find a box this size more useful for a handful of connections.

This works perfectly for an extension cord relay station. The box is nice and deep with plenty of ports/openings for various size cords. The lid has a silicone gasket and locks securely. Definitely a high quality item!

I have a few power strips that I use outside during the holidays and this box lets me keep the power strip in the yard rather than under the eave of the house. I'm happy with the product and would recommend it to others for the holidays.

This is well made and durable. I love this box; it was easy to assemble and to use. I highly recommend this electrical connection box.

I have one other box like this at the back of my house (I have "old" eyes and need lights when it's dark) and have had no problems. This one is for my front yard and some of the lights I have up. All it would take is a bit of rain or "clump" of snow that melts on a plug and you get a short! Where I have more plugs, this box is perfect and I have lights that work just as they should - definitely worth having if you also have eye issues ore just like lights on after dark.
