These work great. I read some reviews regarding leaks in the molds: the only time they will "leak" is when they are refilled (ready for freezing) and (a) the two halves aren't seated properly, usually due to some tiny icy buildup, or (b) too much pressure is exerted on the mold when carrying it to the freezer ("squeezing" it around its circumference can cause the seam to open). Leave just a little room for expansion when filling and these are fantastic. Removing the ice balls gets easier with practice: I still sometimes use a butter knife to separate the bottom half of the ball from the mold.

First of all, upon opening the box, I thought the size of the balls was too big. I didn't really like it, but decided to give them a try. As soon as I filled them up with water, they started to slowly leaked. I tried emptying them and filling them up again, after ensuring they were properly closed, but they still leaked.I would not recommend this product.

After a few freezes molds leak and you have to refill a little to make good ice ball.

No problems filling or setting it in the freezer. The flat bottom of the mold is great for it sitting on a freezer shelf. The only downfall is that the bottom of the mold is really thick. I've tried twice to make ice balls and the ball has stuck to the bottom mold each time. The first time I tried running water over it to loosen and I ended up melting the ball itself. The second time I ran the water over the bottom carefully so I wasn't running it over the top of the ball. I ended up using a butter knife to loosen the edges and then toward the bottom to pry the ice ball from the mold.

The Frosty Balls are awesome! First off, the name is so funny, lots of jokes going around, would be fun for a bachelor party gift. Second, they are high quality and really work in keeping cocktails ice cold, much longer than regular cubes. My husband and his friends love to have high ball cocktails, and these are perfect and unique. There are other similar ball shaped molds, but I think the name and packaging make these fun and different!

CANT WAIT to get out Frosty BALLS! We were at a graduation party and they had them, we need something to help keep our drinks cool for our Lador Day cookout! DUH.. FROSTY BALLS!

Finally, I can say I put my balls in everyone's drinks at work and there wasn't an HR issue. In fact, these have been the favorite of many "white elephant" exchanges. Who knew cold balls could put warm smiles on so many faces? 10/10: Would definitely freeze my balls again.
