Charges just as fast as the Tesla UMC
I bought this to use on a FIAT 500e and it works great - charges from ~50% to full capacity in about 2.5 hours. I rarely run the battery below 40% so I can't say how long it takes to charge beyond that. Shortly after buying this charger our Tesla supplied UMC died in the middle of the night while charging. I used the adapter and plugged this into the Tesla and it charged just as fast as the Tesla UMC (20 miles/hour). Ended up using it to charge the Tesla nightly while we waited for a replacement UMC - it really saved us some inconvenience. The digital readout is nice and a quick glance will tell you how long it took to charge the vehicle. I don't know how accurate the voltage and ampere draw is - it differed slightly from what the Tesla onboard charging system displayed, but I'm not sure which one is more accurate. I don't suppose it really matters unless you are trying to diagnose charging issues, then you could verify that the charger is drawing the proper current I suppose. The cord coils nicely and everything about the charger feels solid and well built. The charger plug cover is a nice add on to keep your charger from picking up dust and dirt when it's not in use. The cord itself is a nice length, but I think that's pretty standard. I can't think of any reason why I would not recommend purchasing this charger.

GREAT product, GOOD screen.
I'd like to give 5 stars, I'm really happy with this product. I use it for my new NISSAN LEAF, The charging time is totally reduced from 5.5h to 2.5h, I think that saved a lot of time for me.Excellent all round and no problems with the plug, it will not be loose or tight. I'm wondering that why I did not find this product before, but finally I got it. I like the screen display it shows charging status and the shell is strong as promoted. But now I using it in my garage, so I don't know whether the waterproof level is also good enough as promoted or not. Again, I am still very satisfied with my purchase and I'll keep focusing on Morec and its products.

Worked great for a week or so….
I was really happy with this product it charge the car much quicker then the level one I had. However it only worked for a little over a week, then it started shutting off every hour or so. I am really lucky it was within the return window to Amazon, because when I emailed the company asking for a number to customer support they asked for a video, proof of purchase, my car make and model ect. Which I provided, but still not given a phone number, but asked to resend the video. So I just returned to Amazon no hassle and purchased a different brand.

Works very well for the price.
I could write an exhaustive review, but I'll just say that if you need one for your BEV (and pretty much everyone will), this is a great value and works very well for ours. If you can wire up the needed outlet yourself, this is a very cost effective and easy way to accomplish level 2 charging. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to set a charge limit (e.g. shutoff at 90% charge). This one is also nice in that it doesn't need to be hardwired, so you have more flexible ways of installing it.I'd recommend buying a basic utility hook to install with the charger, to keep the cable off of the ground.

Third unit in 3 years
I've had the Morec 32A charger for 3 years now. Well, sort of. I've had two units replaced by the manufacturer due to failure. Here I am again with a failed charger. While the previous free replacements have been appreciated I am going to find another product for my charging needs.I should be clear that the units worked well and seemed to be generally high quality. It appears the failure may be an interlock switch in the charging connector. The cable and charging connector are out in the weather. If you use it indoors it may have no problems.I plan to change the connector and see it it works. If so I will have a spare for travel.

A good, unobtrusive fast charger. Customer service needs improvement.
UPDATE: after writing the negative review, the seller reached out to me and provided a replacement. The replacement has worked flawlessly even during some heavy rain and light snow. I’ve been happy with the replacement charger. It charges quickly and, is less obtrusive than some of the other chargers on the market. Raising my review to 4-stars. I’m deducting a star because it took a negative review here before the seller took action to replace the defective unit.Original review:Worked for a month, then stopped. Seller unresponsive.I bought this in Oct 2020 but only started using it the last month (June 2021; took me a while to get around to the electrical upgrade). It worked great initially, but one night after an unexpected rain (not a heavy rain, but moderate and hung on the side of the house where it won’t get a lot of rain), the breaker tripped and now when I plug it into the car, it looks like it’s trying to charge but fails, saying it’s waiting for a signal. The L1 charger that came with my car still works and I can use L3 chargers without any problem so it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the car or the outlet. I contacted the manufacturer via email but haven’t received a response in over a week. It says it is IP67 rated but I’d avoid this if you have to charge your car outside.

Great value for a level 2, 32 amp charger
This 32 Amp charger was perfect for the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, which maxes out charging at 30 Amps anyway, so getting a 40 Amp level 2 charger was just a waste of money if the Pacifica is your only electric vehicle. However, I ended up purchasing a fully electric vehicle as well, so then I decided to spend a few bucks more for a 40 Amp charger instead of 32, as it would save me a couple hours when fully charging that vehicle. So moral of the story: get a 40 Amp charger if you have a fully electric vehicles. The 32 Amp may be sufficient if you have a hybrid as the batteries in a hybrid are much smaller and don't take all that long to charge. The display read-out on this model is nice. Build quality seems very good. Also, this comes with a wall-holder for your charger, which is a nice bonus, as other brands I looked required this to be an extra purchase.
