Great encoder, works perfectly
Great encoder, works perfectlyI’m really happy with this encoder. The video quality is excellent, it’s easy to set up, and it supports all the protocols I need (RTMP, SRT, HLS, etc.). I use it for live streaming, and it hasn’t let me down. Highly recommend it, and thanks to the seller for a good product and fast shipping.

A Top Quality and Very Reliable Encoder for Professional Usage
I have multiple of these encoders and have had no problems at all with any of them.They are very simple to setup and operate reliably on a consistent basis.Very useful for monitoring of remote productions, processes and locations such as lobbies, drivewaysand back docks. The SDI input makes integration into a professional environment a snap.Highly recommended and you cannot go wrong with any of the Uray products.

A great investment for live streaming church services.
I bought 2 of these to stream our church services. I didn't want a software solution. This encoder works. So far it has been a good investment. It works well and the quality of the video is great.

The hardware works fine, but it would be good to know what you're doing
I was glad that I knew something about setting up streaming encoders, because I'd have surely been lost using only the documentation provided with the encoder. I ended up just walking the menus and filling in the info needed based on experience with other encoders. Initially I ran into a problem with the sound being out of sync with the video, but a little bit of thought sorted that out.The product is in a nice metal case, and after running the encoder with live video for several days in a row, there were no overheating issues. I wouldn't call this hardware "enterprise grade" but It seems to function reliably over an extended period of time.I did not attempt to get tech support from the company, so have left that rating blank.

Use this if you don't know how to setup VLC player to stream from IP
This worked great—especially for those unfamiliar with setting up VLC to stream from an IP source. Just plug it in and it’s ready to go, with no need to worry about mini PCs rebooting or VLC failing to launch on startup.
