Q: I have a very large fish bowl which I would love to use for water lillies or do they have to live in a pond

This came as a very small plant which you could start in a large fish bowl, but as lilies can grow to fill a pond it would eventually get too big and they won’t flower until they are large enough. How long that would take obviously depends on the size of your plant and bowl, they take years to get huge, but you probably wouldn’t get it to flower
