An oldie but a goodie... witty, fun, and accurate
This book is a classic, and a good investment for anyone working with astrology or astrological archetypes. The writing is hilarious. I love the sarcasm and dry humor.Oh, don't think this is just a "gag gift" or a joke book. It's not. The descriptions - though hilarious - are actually quite accurate for each sign. Some references are a little dated, culturally speaking, but don't let that deter you from buying and reading this book.As an author, I'm using it for some of my character descriptions. And, if I ever write a book with a zany astrologer as a prominent character, this book is going to be at my elbow. It's also an ideal book to leave out for party guests to browse and read aloud. I'm sure it'd spark some entertaining conversations.

pretty accurate. It's rather brutal and tell-it-like-it-is
Hilarious, and, I think, pretty accurate. It's rather brutal and tell-it-like-it-is. Whether you 'believe' in astrology or not, and astrology is pretty vague, she absolutely nails it with some of the signs. I recognized a few people just from the descriptions of their total coldness and self-absorption. I, myself, seem to have been born under the wrong sign. I fit few of the characteristics of my star sign, and fit right into another zodiac sign description altogether. So, it is kind of nonsense. But great descriptions of the awful side of the zodiac.

Great book, very funny and accurate
So far, I've only read my sign, but this lady's wickedly funny and deadly accurate in her descriptions of aquarians. I can't wait to read more

Highly entertaining!
The cover was the first thing that caught my attention. Any book with a cover that funny had to be worth reading. I was not disappointed. Every other astrology book I have ever read is completely focused on the good aspects of the zodiac. This book was truly refreshing. Not only did this book focus on all the problems of the zodiac , but it gave advice on how to deal with it. I was laughing the entire time I read this book. It was also nice to have both sexes described. I never knew the difference before!

How to tackle your astrological dark side and anyone else's 101
Hazel Dixon-Cooper lays it out with a combination of humor and slap-in-the-face accuracy that could smack the doubt out of the most dubious astrology-doubter. There's an old saying: forewarned is forearmed. This book gives everyone the information they need to head off disaster whether by the hand of friend, foe, family, employer or self. Although the harsh reality of our dark sides according to Hazel may sting a bit, you may also find--as I was happy to find--some triumph in realizing that you've managed to shrink a bit of that darkness down to a tendency rather than a controlling force. Overall: fascinating and funny!

funny beyond words :)
I actually owned this book in its Italian translation and wanted to be able to read it to my husband and friends here without having to translate all the time (if you translate as you read it's extremely difficult to keep the humour!) so I bought the book in English. I really recommend it as a buy to everyone, unless you really believe in astrology. It's good as a laugh because it's true, very well done and makes you really think to your own flaws and the people you live with. And it's pretty accurate :D

Fun series of books that deserve a read!
I really enjoyed this book (along with Love/Friends on a Rotten Day.) I found the books witty, funny and extremely accurate. As an astrology enthusiast, I enjoyed how the book dove into the negative sides of each star sign. Many astrology books only give a quick mention of the negative traits of each sign (Leo-bossy, Scorpio-jealous, etc) and focus mainly on how fantastic each sign is. Although I love reading about how amazing I am, it's more fun reading about how bad your ex/friend/mother is.If you enjoyed "Love on a Rotten Day", I recommend reading "How to Spot a B*stard by His Star Sign: The Ultimate Horrorscope" by Adele Lang, Susi Rajah. Great book for realising that your ex's really were b*stards!

If your into your star signs it's a good book to have
If your into your star signs it's a good book to have. Some interesting pointers in there although sometimes it's down to personal opinion as one cap does not always fit all xx

Buy it for a laugh, but don't expect it to tell you the truth
Good laugh, but went to the page for me and then for my sisterand no. Not at all accurate, but very funny.

Check this out beforehand!
This is eye-opening because it illustrates the "dark" side of the astrological signs. Enjoyed it.
