I order this every year for the sensory bin in my classroom. It is so easy to make and is really soft to run your fingers through. It even feels cold like real snow! I have it covered when not being used and it usually last a couple of weeks. Definitely a good value and so fun.

The media could not be loaded. We purchased this product for our daughters Frozen theme Birthday party. We covered our front main entrance to our home which is 9 by 27 feet. I wasnt sure the 60 gallon bag was enough so I brought two. I had more than enough. The kids had an absolute ball playing. We measured one cup of snow and poured that into a cup first, placed the cup in the bin and then poured the water into the cup on top of the powdered snow. This worked best for us and yield more snow, rather than pouring the water onto inside the bin of the powder. Even after 3 days the snow is still cold and wet for play. Cleaning up we just swept it up in a bag. I even gave some away to kids at the party in a plastic bag to take home. I will definitely buy this again. Word of caution though, this stuff is very slippery so wear shoes and be careful when walking on it.

This is a really cool product. I had a Christmas party in Florida and I needed something to bring it over the top. I'm assuming it's not great for the environment so I covered part of my lawn with a tarp and covered it with this snow. I originally made the mixture in a wheelbarrow, but found it was just as easy to dump the cup of flakes wherever I wanted it and then pour the gallon of water directly on it. I intended to cover a good portion of my yard, but it rained for days beforehand and I had to start mixing everything hours before the party so I only did a small section. It takes a good amount of time to cover a large area and it's so light that it's hard to cover hilly areas. The flakes do expand a lot and it's pretty cool that you can touch it instantly and your hand won't be wet. It doesn't feel like real snow and you won't be able to make snowballs out of it, but it looks like snow and everyone was impressed. Some people here said that you could reuse it by adding water. Well, it rained after the party as well and it just turned into slush/water. It leaked out of the area I had covered with the tarp and turned into sludge. I imagine it will all eventually wash away. I'm not sure if it will affect my grass at all yet. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

I purchased this for my daughter and niece's 5th Frozen themed birthday party. It was so easy to use, we used a big container and mixed 1 cup powder with 1 gallon of water (we saved a gallon jug from milk), I was surprised at how easy it was to make, and how much snow it yields. I purchased the mix that makes 60 gallons and we were able to cover an 8x8 foot area, with deep snow (not just an inch or two, some spots it was at least 5 inches deep!). We put the snow on a blue tarp, it was slippery for the adults to walk in, but the kids had no problems slipping at all. The kids absolutely loved the snow and had so much fun playing in it, they made snow angels and tossed it in the air. The snow was cold to the touch (we used cold tap water). We had the snow out for 8 hours, in a covered patio, in the Florida heat and it didn't lose the cold touch or get ruined at all. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking to make their event or day magical!

My family made snow globes with artificial snow for a Christmas project. This stuff was great except for the fact that you have to. Keep it hydrated which didn’t work when you glued the bottom on your sno globe. Otherwise it melts just like real snow. It’s pretty amazing stuff but not sure if it’s toxic for kids. It does resemble real snow and fun to watch it form. Doesn’t clump like snow tho.

My students had a lot of fun with this. Didn’t make as much as it indicated. We put in our sensory bin. I’ve used several kinds of this fake snow. This one for the price goes the least amount of all the ones I’ve gotten. But the worst part was that within 7-8 days it started smelling rancid. I’ve had others get an odor that wasnt this bad, but it lasted at least 2-2.5 weeks. For the price this stuff wasnt worth the small amount and especially the short amount of time to use it before it smelled gross.

This stuff is so amazing! My mom only had a few days left to live, and she kept talking about how she wanted to go skiing and missed the snow. I ordered these packets (thankfully they arrived quickly/on time) and used one to make her some snow! I mixed it with water and then added some crushed ice cubes to make it feel even more real. I brought it to her in a tray in her bed, and used a cheap VR headset and a 360 YouTube video to show her a skiing video while she had her hands in the tray of snow! She LOVED it and said it was the best present ever. She asked to play with it again the next two days as well, because it felt so real and so soothing! She loved how cold it stayed, and the texture was just fun to play with! Thank you for making my mom’s last few days on earth so special.Tips:-It feels a tiny bit like kinetic sand - very cool texture and definitely enough like snow, but if you add some ice cubes, it feels even better! It totally works without them, but adding ice cubes makes it feel colder for longer, and a bit more like real snow!-Store it inside. It lasted like two weeks inside for us! It got really wet from the ice cubes melting, but I bet if you didn’t add the ice cubes, or just added more powder, it would last for a while I think! My boyfriend bought some for his nieces in Australia as well, and it lasted for about five hours in 100+ degree (F) heat outside.-1 packet was plenty to just play with on a tray (like kinetic sand) with your hands. When my boyfriend made it for his nieces, he used 8 packets so they could make snow angels and toss it around.
